Apparently the new Dragon Ball Z movie was so good they're going to make a new Dragon Ball series, but I wanna know if this is true :/

Nah its just a rumor.. i don't think its real

I meant to say if you need the energy from other living beings, then i consider it fusion.

Hmm well i recall a scene in GT where Goku needed energy to go back to SSJ4.. so ? Goku only needed it once to transform so i think its just a trigger or a plot device

It's a fusion.In other words they can't evolve to it if it's not part of their genetic makeup.

That isn't fusion.. that's only taking the energy and using it fusion means combining bodies together and as far as saiyan genetics go don't they keep evolving everytime ?

and its saiyan nature to keep changing and altering their body to become stronger so i think it perfectly fits into their "nature" goku has done it many times

Akira Toriyama has no plans (or desires) to create another Dragon Ball anything series. (The guy doesn't even remember who Vegeto is!)

Now a computer video game called Dragon Ball Online features a story that happens after DBZ. (It ignores DBGT) But thats merely a video game. The DBZ Battle of Gods movie is just that, a movie. So be at peace dear.

If Akira toriyama NOW says God ascension is part of their genetic makeup then that would be a farfetched BS cop out added for the sake of adding it. ​

Toriyama created the SSG concept, drew it and was behind it. He created it to be a SS transformation. Its not a Fusion dude lol. SSG came before the first LSS!

Okay show me a Saiyan that their first SuperSaiyan God transformation was achieved without absorbing the energy from 6 others. And i mean absolute first as in something triggered it & poof, SuperSaiyan God done all on the individual's own. ​

Goku is the only SSG we've seen in the Dragon Ball Universe. Both Son-Kun and the first SSG needed 5 pure hearted Saiyans to infuse their "light" into the 6th person. During the battle with Birusu Goku's SSG time limited expired and he returned to normal base form. However Goku absorbed some of the SSG power. Birusu unleashed a Freeza style death ball on Goku and Son-Kun momentarliy becomes SSG again and "repels" Birusu's attack.

Your putting too much thought into it. DB doesn't adhere to real world logic. As the name suggests SSG is a SS transformation. Its "the god of the Saiyans" Refer to the Kanzenshuu article I posted in the previous post.

Dude you're overanalyzing it.. simply put its not a fusion because it doesn't involve others fusing to Goku he's just borrowing other's energy to unlock SSJGOD its cheesy just like Neo genesis evanglion's movie ending where they give their powers to make a new Megazord or something or hell the Broly's Movie's ending they do the same thing

and i hope they make another movie which has a better freaking PLOT ! i know DBZ is shonen and lighthearted BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ! please make it a little more complex then

I can write like 10 fan-fics better than Battle of Gods IMHO they need to make something like they did in Android saga introducing Trunks in such a BADASS Way with well written backstory

Its not energy its "light" they give to Goku. I'm guessing their SS aura "light" Gohan who can become Ultimate Gohan in the movie (and uses it against Birusu) becomes a SS1 to give his pops his "light." Its not a Fusion of any kind. If the Toriyama puts it in the SS line up why are you insisting its a Fusion? Who is right Toriyama or you?

Saiyans need the full moon to become Great Apes, your going to tell me that the moon is natural to the Saiyans body? No moon no Great Ape. Is that a Fusion too? YOU want this to be a Fusion, nobody else does. Its called SUPER SAIYAN God for a reason. Goku explains that Fusion is when two people become one brand new person. Goku didn't join with anyone to become a whole new person entirely. He took their "light." Goku is still Goku not Gogeta or Vegeta. Its just Goku with God power, godhood. He's still the same Son Goku, only powered up.
Using your logic Vegeta should be able to become a SS3 because its "natural" but tell me why Vegeta is not a SS3 using In Universe terms? The games don't count. Broly's LSS must be a Fusion too because nobody can reach it but him, yet its "natural" isn't it?

Obviously it's a natural transformation for Saiyans if Gotenks could & Goku can then Vegeta can. ​

Its not about finding a link. SS3 is about pushing the SS2 power so far, that it "opens" the door to the SS3 transformation. Goku had trouble maintaining it while alive because of how much energy it used. Heck when he was dead the form rushed his time on Earth! Gotenks copied what Goku did to become a SS3. He screamed and pushed his power to its limit. (The Great Ape appearing in the SS3 is anime only. The Manga shows no such thing. Vegeta can obtain it but hasn't, why?

The Blutz Waves that come from the Moon and other Moon like objects trigger a gene in the Tail. It has nothing to do with their blood. Its not like a werewolf transformation. Vegeta explains this in his battle with Goku. (First time)

Broly wouldn't know what it requires to reach SuperSaiyan 3 because it was never explained to him. ​

Broly is insane smart, Broly only goes crazy around Goku. (Or Gohan and Goten because they look like Goku) In theory Broly can obtain SS3 as well. SS3 is the first Saiyan because he trained and discovered it. Goku lives for surpassing anything strong. It can't be a hard if Gotenks obtained it by simply watching and coping Goku. ​

Broly's first movie says that Broly's power goes up constantly which causes him to release it as a explosion. He could obtain if he tried /learned. ​

You missed my point anyway, clearly by my definition & yours we agree SuperSaiyan 3 is a transformation & not fusion. ​

You haven't yet proven there is a Saiyan that went SuperSaiyan God for their very 1st time all on their own WITHOUT combining elements from other living things. ​

Fusion as used in the DB series is when two persons (not objects or elements) combine to create a brand new person separate from the two who fused. By that logic SSG is not a Fusion. I'm not trying to prove that the first SSG or Goku can become a SSG on their own, I'm telling you that Toriyama created SSG to be a SS transformation. Toriyama is "God" of anything DB/Z and by small work GT if he says its a SS transformation your wrong period. Toriyama has spoken.

I don't think SuperSaiyan 4 is limited to pure blooded Saiyans, i think Saiyans with a tail can reach it.

The only way a Saiyan can attain Super Saiyan 4 is if he is already a Super Saiyan, can transform into a Golden Great Ape, and then regain conscious control over the form. After this form is attained once, it can be accessed at any point.

golden great ape is exclusive for pure blooded saiyans

So i'm not taking Bulma's word on it because she's neither full or half Saiyan.
