I have zero (ZERO) idea why you're even on the forum. Zilch. You're entire purpose is to reunite the DMC community. You make seem like we're at each others throats and along comes you, The Saviour. I've pointed out before that this forum is very respectable and has created threads outlining what's good and bad about the game.So me trying to reunite the Devil May Cry community is considered ranting? I let everyone know I was Anti-DmC upfront to show that I was willing to put our differences aside for better of the community. I want to stop this pointless fighting/flaming/trolling that has been going on between DMC and DmC fans who are under the same franchise. It's pitiful. It's gives Devil May Cry fans a bad reputation. It's makes every fan look immature. So in the end we, as the Devil May Cry community, ALL lose.
There are members on who don't even like DmC or think much of it, BUT, since I disagree with some of their points it doesn't mean the community is divided and torn apart which now needs re-uniting. As far as I know, everyone has already come to the conclusion whether to buy or not but still respect the game in general. You're trying to reunite a community that isn't even torn apart. YouTube comments sure as hell don't count. Instead of you telling me what you think, you tell me what you think based on Adam Sesslers review or what users say on Metacritic(of all sites). I'm telling you now, I don't care what you have to say until you play the game because you have most minimal knowledge of the game yourself yet seem to insist you know what you're talking about. Especially when you talk about the combat....
Also when you talk about Tekken
1) No. You cannot give a pass to Namco Bandai for allowing such glitches to happen in the first place. If you're gonna bash Capcom because of DmCs demo glitch then stick to your rule and bash Nintendo (Zelda glitches), Namco (Tekken glitches), Bethesda (Fallout) etc.
2) No. You cannot let Namco Bandai (get away) with having an online pass because they gave you some other crap in return which cancels out the online pass
3) Those characters were already on the disc.
I made this point earlier as to why this wouldn't work.Could it not sell under it's own merits instead using Devil May Cry's name?
People can be morons.
Example:
Lets say we have DMC1,2,3,4 and this new game 'Demon Hunter X' (DmC)
Demon Hunter X is released and I GUARANTEE you 100%, that this game will be called a rip-off of DmC. 100% I know that'll happen.
As it stands this game is apparently
OK so Demon Hunter X comes out and I know that that people will then say.....changed cosmetically and mechanic wise to the point of it being completely unrecognizable.
"Ah yeah that Demon Hunter X (DmC) game is total rip-off. Look the dude protagonist has guns and a sword. Is named Dante, has a brother named Vergil. Makes smartarse remarks. Is cocky. Has a long coat and is fighting a dude named Mundus. It's pretty much a DMC game. The combat has weapon switches, jump cancels similar moves with the same name. The same currency (ORBS), has a similar upgrade system. Total rip-off from DMC1234."
I know THAT would happen. But that's the thing this game isn't called Demon Hunter X is it? It's called DmC, now do you see why I think this whole thing is stupid? Because this game isn't "completely unrecognizable" as you put but far more to the original series than you'd probably like to admit.
I've seen games like Castlevania:LoS called a rip-off of Shadow of The Colossus for having 2 (TWO) titan bosses. Also being a rip-off of God of War for having similar combat.
I've seen games like Darksiders called a rip-off of Zelda because it uses the same formula and elements of that series. Like using Dungeons, Inventory style and riding on horseback.
I know that if Demon Hunter X came out it would be called a rip-off of DMC1234, yet those seem to think it's "completely unrecognizable" despite the insane amount of similarities to the older games SHOWING that NT took a lot of time to stay faithful but recreate the game.
