...in comparison, DBFZ's chars all look like they play the same to me. Game looked hype at first in its gameplay but now feels kinda stale. And it ain't even out yet.

Honestly, 2D fighters just don't do it for me anymore, so I never got behind the hype for DBFZ.

I think the reason was do to the factors of it being made by the people of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, and because it was compared to MvC Infinite, it was looked at as the better one.

So far every character looks to have it's on stick, but all have these weird dash in mechanic, which makes it look like they're the same. Still it's DBZ so it's bound to look samey due to the topic.
MvCI looks to be shaping up ok now though. Still not on board with the roster in that one.
