Lol. I always thought the challange (while very, very frusterating at times) was what made part of this game great in DA. I guess I'm used to people who discouraged the use of the super-costumes, since this game is supposed to be hard. That's a big part of its reputation.

Oh yes, I remember that mission. You MUST get used to combinding Tricksters move's, as they usually attack in spurts. So something like Dash->Jump->Sky Star->Air Trick->Repeat usually does it for me.

But really, why would you want to use Super Dante anyways? It breaks the battle system and the fun of the game.

Either way, Quicksilver and it's effects (including it's massive amount of invincibility frames) are awsome.

Trickster- Wall Run, Air Trick and Sky Star have to be 3 of the most usful moves in the game. Quicksilver-Time Slow is even better than Wall Run, Air Trick and Sky Star, sicne a Quick-Cancel can be activated at any time. Darkslayer-Instant Teleportation, need I say more?

It all depends on how you play Dante though. Depending on your style of play, Dante can be extremely fast, or just mediocre. I know I like to maximize my stylish-trickster/Quicksilver opportunites, wallrunning, dashing and JC'ing whenever I get a chance to, even adding them into my normal combos.

Is that the mission where you can't get hit for a certain amount of time? If so, it's not really to tough when you take advantage of Trickster's/Darkslayer's invincibility frames.

Overall though, it's really just who you're most skilled with. I've seen many excellent Vergil players who aren't quite as good with Dante, and vice-versa.

They're not. DMC SE added another difficulty to make the learning curve a little easier. Other than that, the difficulty of DMD is the same, no matter which version you have.

Re: craziest gameplay!!! Of course DMC:3 has the nastiest action gameplay known to the PS2, that's what it made for.

That's because Arkham was never in good light to see him.

Why not just get the PS2 version of the game?

That's what the developers thought Sparda should look like. Sure, if you just stare at him all day he's wierd, but imagine flying through the air, with fast-paced fights, and lots of stunts. Then it would actually look cool.

I personally like the look of Corrupted Vergil, and use him frequently, although I don't use the super costumes at all. And the 2-player doppleganger trick has been around for quite some time.
