LOL - I used to work in a hotel on reception and it was the crappiest job I ever had :lol: I used to give the more nasty guests 3am wake-up calls, so that was something to enjoy at least...
Just use phrases like habla usted ingles? (do you speak english?) and if they don't then say lo siento pero no hablo espanol (I'm sorry but I don't speak spanish). Then go with your original plan of plying them with alcohol until your step-mum comes back :lol:
I'm ok - tired and sick of house renovations :lol: - but otherwise doing pretty good. Got rid of Jessica for a week which helps because the house is upside down with wood, paint, tools - you name it :lol:
It's my sister and her husband who are coming up today which should be nice - they're taking Steve to Go Ape this afternoon (climbing trees, swinging from them and going down zipwires, that sort of thing) so that should provide plenty of entertainment for me, taking photos of them all hitting the ground face first, that sort of thing :lol:

Busy fuming :lol: - at 7:45 this morning some idiot decided to deliver 160 pieces of decking timber when it wasn't meant to arrive until next Tuesday. And I've got family coming over in about an hour who now have to sit on timber rather than sofas...typical, eh?
