Hmm, people really should understand basic things like 'There can be times when you can push someone too much'. I find it really annoying when other people expect too much from me, because as you say; you can take it some times, but not all the time; and by such a huge amount. People need to acknowledge that life is based on boundaries that are the key principles as to how things are run. Simple logic like that can be attained by even a five year old >.<

When I said I wasn't going to get a suite, she asked for a range cooker (approximately £2000 worth). She seems to think I'm made of money, although I have no idea why. Then when I said no to that too, she went on and on about how I owe her for not going to her epic-fail wedding (she had a total comedy of errors type wedding in Italy - of course, she can't see the lols in it so we have to make out like it was a tragedy). In the end, I gave her husband some money knowing if I handed it to her she'd bitch it wasn't nearly enough

Still, the break was nice just for a change of scene at least...spent far too much money but if you can't when you're on holiday, when can you?

Just got back last night and I am officially all out of family-socialising for the next thirty years at least. My sister got slightly drunk on Wednesday night and laid into me about not going to her wedding (long story, very dull and this girl holds grudges like no one else I know). Then on Thursday we went out for dinner with her and her husband and the two of them proceeded to have a series of domestics in front of the entire restaurant whilst I'm sitting there going, "so yeah, how's about that chicken, eh?" in a vague attempt to avoid being caught in the crossfire. Then my sister got in a strop because I refused to buy her a 3 piece suite for a wedding gift (what the hell??). It was an eventful holiday if nothing else :lol:
