Apparently Trish was there for sometime, maybe days or weeks. Gloria's disguise was not for a day or two, nor do I believe she would rise to such high positon in only some days.

Trish explicitly gets saddled with doing that at the start of Dante's segment.

I found parts of the japanese novel which say Lady was with them and paid the expenses. She was left behind to check on citizens, while others care about their own bussinesses.

Dante is a bum, but why he would agree with such silly plan, it's beyond me.

Yes, I get it. What I was saying was that originally I had thought it was Sanctus due to it being his library.

That really isn't what I got. There's like a one second shot of Dante's face and a music shift (Probably intended to make the audience think that something is about to go down) but then he instantly laughs about the disguise. Even if he hadn't personally seen her outfit before then, I don't think there was any confusion at all about who she was.

Based on that I'm going to say not canon, since there's stuff like Nero killing Agnus and DTing against Berial.

But come on, cut some slack. It's not that easy to find Japanese-only pachinko videos, and even harder to find ones which clearly showcase the cutscenes.

@Foxtrot94 it's not that I don't think they could make a full game out of Vergil first fight with mundus, I just don't think it's a best use of a game.

I just feel like a game with Vergil set after DMC1 would be a better step because it moves the story forward.

Depending on how it's done, a prequel with Mundus and Sparda could expand the lore and introduce plot threads that could be carried on in DMC5 to move the plot forward.

First choice, DMC1 remake, with Reuben Langdon voicing Dante, and with the same dark gothic tone and atmosphere, but with current gen graphics, and updated gameplay.
Second choice would be DmC2. Likely with Vergil as the big bad. I also think it would be nice if they rectified how the first game talked about a war between angels and demons, but never showed any actual angels besides their mother. Would the angels ally with Dante? Or would they, like the demons, see a nephilim as an abomination? Maybe if Vergil's the main villain, they use Dante as a means to an end, maybe in some ways the angels turn out to be as bad as the demons.
So those are my two main choices.

I want to see Dante have a Wizard of Oz themed adventure. They already Alice on wonderland with the manga plus Wizard of Oz was considered the first American fairytale.

I wouldn't mind a case that has a connection to one of the spinoff materials. Like meeting Alice years after the manga to see how she copes with almost becoming a demon.

I hope it shows at TGS though. Cause if it shows as PSX, it means it would probably end up being a PS exclusive (even though SF5 was shown there too, which is on PC as well), and to hell with that.
