I wouldn't like that actually. From what I've seen, Kamiya's kind of an asshole, and I'm not gonna buy some game from a jerk off who tells people to f*ck off and says PSASBR was shameful for copying SSB, when Bayonetta was a copy from DMC.

Sorta funny to see the parallels between both Kamiya's and Tameem's interactions with fans. Kamiya tells people who like his games to "f#ck off" and they still adore him. Tameem gets told to "F#ck off" by people who think he's ruining a game, and yet he's the bad guy :/

Or, to put it another way, Tameem leaves people berating him snarky comments and he's a horrible person, but when Kamiya literally tells someone "F#ck off" it's okay because they're constantly annoying him.

I agree, it seems a bit weird to say that one developer is an asshole and the other isn't. Pretty sure Tameem acted like an ass too, only in a different way. I don't know, a lot of developers can be assholes - that doesn't mean I'm never going to buy their games. I simply buy games based on if they're good or not. If somebody misses out on tons of good games because they think developers should not be allowed to get angry every once in a while (or make mistakes), sad for them.

@Lionheart I understand what you mean but I try to think about it like this: Imagine how many people saw that comment and article. People who aren't aware of him or what he's done but heard about him through Smash/ Bayonetta 2. How does that comment look to them? Would you want to buy a product from a guy who thinks you're an idiot? It could turn off potential new customers instantly. Sure he could've been having a bad day but that's not an excuse. You still need to act professional. Act like an asshole all you want but don't let everyone see it. Sheesh lol. On the other hand, it could've been a mistake. At least he doesn't do it too often...right?

No because Tammen never straight up told someone to f*ck off, Hasn't insulted another video game as a rip off or shameful (he said Bayonetta was cool but not the cool he enjoyed in his own opinion) doesn't go nodding off to sleep during interviews, or throw twitter tantrums when something doesn't go his way. One insult is understandable but more than once plus his own co. worker calling Kamiya out is comepletely unprofessional no matter how big of a fan you are. Kamiya's just a douche, and its beginning to show

He used Bloody Palace as a way to make himself look good by painting it as free dlc, joked about rebooting Paddington the bear, said Dante would get laughed out if he entered a bar in Tokyo, said the material he received was death threats when it was most likely anti-DmC and called Trish a prostitute.
That qualifies as an arsehole.

you can vouch for Kamiya all you want, but unlike you, I can actually admit that Tameen said things that were out of line and he's already apologized for them (apparently) but Kamiya's still being a douche and I'm not suppose to question that?
