Xbox360 Magazine Review + Interview (Game Scored 9/10!)

I'm not sure if I can post the complete list actually o.o well it says in the booklet not to at least. So I don't know if I can go posting the up all the mission names and with every single detail from it. A review's a review, but this is kinda spoiler stuff (even though there's not that much in it anyway besides what the tropthies gave away...kinda)

@.@ Oh, I'm conflicted. I think I might have to give this one a miss. Sorry.
 
When will developers get the memo that big boss fights are boring as ****. God I blame God of War for this. Some of the best fights in any game I played were in God Hand because they were 1 v1 man sized fights (though the demon forms of the characters and the last boss could be considered "big")

It would make sense. It's like having two boss battles in one.

Or, considering Poison had three life bars, one could assume all bosses follow suit.
That being said, Mundus could have three evolutionary states, each with one life bar.

The giant boss part would still be garbage.

What's up with Ninja Theory and static bosses? Were they so focused on making moving environments that they forgot how to make moving enemies?

No there are 6 bosses confirmed by the booklet....Hunter...Succubus..Bob Barbas...Killingface(Mundus's baby)...Mundus and Vergil...also on Mundus it says that when you are fighting him you are on platforms and he attacks with his hands,fireballs a shockwave and spits some kind of lava from his mouth...also it says when you defeat one of his arms you demon pull in his eye to bring out Mundus and Vergil core (something fishy about that..maybe Mundus absorbed Vergil) It seem to me that Mundus is sadly that giant demon at Gamescom trailer...also it says his attacks do 2/3 damage....I still hope we fight him in his human form though :/Also Tammem has said that we will fight human sised bosses but as it seems nope

Who gives a ****? the problem is to fight ONLY the giant part...as long as a human size battle with Mundus is included i'm fine :cool:

I'm with you here. I love a big boss as much as the next guy, but...seriously, they've gotta be inventive, instead of just being big. I still love fighting against near-human size enemies, if only because they have to find more creative ways to make them a threat than just making them big. I think the Kingdom Hearts series showed it off best, for me. Big bosses were fun to fight, but when you got into a duel, sh*t go real.

Would your booklet by any chance be called 'the ultimate guide to DmC? I'm only asking because I bought something with the same title just now from ebay. It's 65 pages big, but I'm not sure what's in it. Bought it out of curiosity.

I hope so. Say... don't you remember a thread where a member interviewed the guy who played Mundus. He said that "Mundus is more of a hand-to-hand combatant and when he gets p*ssed, he transforms." So I'm sure we might fight his human form and I think it might be one of the most epic boss fights I'd ever experience in a DMC game, if done right.

Well I posted that thread ;) I'm the guy :)Louis told he believes the fight will be more hand to hand...even he didn't knew quite well what was going on

Yeah but what if they find out, come back and eat me for it? I'm only fragile little acorn ya know ;_; I don't know if i'm overeacting or not, I just don't feel comfortable with it, at least posting it on a forum. o__o

God I really want to though, I feel like I got holy grail in my friggin hand @.@
