Xbox360 Magazine Review + Interview (Game Scored 9/10!)

Sadly there are 6 bosses in the game and you know all of them...and also I fear we re not going to fight any human sized bosses....

It seems that the player already upgraded Dante's health bar to the max. Just give a look at how big it is, at page 2. XD

20 health slots.

I don't know what drew me to this magazine...

Okay maybe I do  I have the pages below (I'm too busy to type them up). I have another magazine of DmC which I'lll upload tomorrow. I consider this a perfect remedy for anyone 'extremely' doubtful on the game. ^^

-From review-

Satisfying action, a great sense of style and combat deep enough to get lost in for months come together to create an experience only rivalled by Bayonetta. And if that's the kind of company you're keeping, you have to assume you're doing something right.

THE SCORE
+Tight combat
+Wonderful style
+Insane combo depth
-Slightly story-heavy
-Not enough bosses
-Wub-wub-wub
9 OUT OF 10

---
The magazine also came with a small booklet with types on how to kill what demons, moves in the game, aaaand...the names of each mission and bosses, and the tactics to defeat them.

But, I'm holding back on that for tomorrow <3 Don't murder me!
Thank you, I finally get my question answered :) I'm fine with the low number of bosses :) I really hope in the next one (if they make it) will have more, but I'm really excited to see the story :)

All the way back in '95?

Well dubstep is not as new as people think it is. It originated in the 90s actually and in the UK. I'm not a particular fan myself but it depends on what it is, some was tolerable because my brother listens to that stuff.

Oh I know, but I doubt Noisia was around back then >_<

But, dubstep isn't the "wub-wub-wub," it's the tempo. There's dubstep that has no wub or annoying noises. Skrillex in the mainstream just ended up improperly describing the genre to the greater public :/ I call dubstep dubstep, but anything with wub I call wubstep :3

no decent pics of Vergil *ish outraged* (lol)

Six bosses... I can make 7... unless one of them isn't a boss
Vergil
Bob barbas
Mundus
Lilith
Mundus Baby
Poison
Hunter (?)

I would wager that Lilith isn't a boss herself - she is probably merged with the baby or she is dealt with in cutscenes. The reason I think this is because with feminisim being more prominent (not sure if this is good or bad) I would think that to have a game where you can fight a woman would be slandered by feminists... :/ Who knows! :)

Well, to be fair, the old Devil May Cry games had a fair share of female boss battles.
Nevan and Echidna serve as prime examples.

You fight the harpies and witches. I'm a woman and I'm not offended by that at all. In fact, I wish it was done more often in a decent way, you know, without all that sexualization which isn't present in those enemies.

The witch is more mystical looking than sexualized imo.

Also, may I say that this review is great news for DmC.
So fair it seems all reviews are leaning to the positive. I'm fairly certain that this game will be marvelous.

I wonder about what happened to the Max guy from the leaked list (4chan), lol.

I guess he's probably another regular enemy, whose name was probably changed,

I can't wait to see the list tomorrow, like the TC said. Gonna be hard sleeping tonight! XD

I know! But I am just saying if there was a Lilith boss fight and she were just as humanoid (unlike the harpies and witches) then there would be probs. I have nothing against women or feminists - I am just posting my thoughts!

No there are 6 bosses confirmed by the booklet....Hunter...Succubus..Bob Barbas...Killingface(Mundus's baby)...Mundus and Vergil...also on Mundus it says that when you are fighting him you are on platforms and he attacks with his hands, fireballs a shockwave and spits some kind of lava from his mouth...also it says when you defeat one of his arms you demon pull in his eye to bring out Mundus and Vergil core (something fishy about that..maybe Mundus absorbed Vergil) It seem to me that Mundus is sadly that giant demon at Gamescom trailer...also it says his attacks do 2/3 damage....I still hope we fight him in his human form though :/Also Tammem has said that we will fight human sised bosses but as it seems nope

Also I completely agree with the sexualisation thing - that is one of the reasons why I could NEVER play Bayonetta! :)

Whoa!! Where did you read this?

Is the list already leaked? lol

I really don't see your point. If a woman is bad... especial one like Lilith (not to mention she's butt ugly) then I don't see a problem for feminists or women in general.

Now if there is some degrading bull crap in there, like idk Dante calling Kat a number of slurs and disrespecting her in general without or even with reasons... then I would seriously burn this game with the power of nine suns.
