 well, I'm waiting on what Oppressedwriter has to say. I can't answer for him, so you'll have to wait.

I asked how that post looks like from a side.
Did it look like he nameed the worst moment of game, or just give us a list why he didn't like this game?

Oh!

Then from that perspective, it looks like he listed things he didn't like, which is the whole point of the thread in saying things that didn't click with a person, like TWOxCROSS said.

I thought the whole point of thread is to name some moment (not momentS) what you didn't like most of all. Not to give a full list of things you didn't like.

Well, they should at least name topic correctly. For example "Why you didn't like DMC4". Because all that hypocritical crap "say what was worst, but keep it civil, this isn't about bashing the game ^^," looks ridiculous

That's a real shame that the same thing was said about DmC, and yet look at how much people bashed the game in general, so don't bring that civil stuff here if the thread that started all these other "worse thens" and its posters can't lead by example.

I just call him TXA for short. It's easier that way.

And I would just like to list a few things I didn't like about the fourth installment:

It didn't have wallrun and poleplay. A lot of people don't miss those things, but I do. I think they really enhanced the available combos in DMC3.

It's not within their realm of ability... well, for most of them, anyway.

Hows that any different then when people say DmC as a whole was bad? Are you just being one sided then?
Hah!

Reactions: Dante's Stalker
Initially
My first worst moment in the game was Dante crashing through the ceiling, taking out his Holiness, and then countering every one of my ****ing moves. Like, eff off you stupid douche bag. And then he got away and I said 'yeah you better run you dysfunctional punk face'.
My second was facing down Sanctus. He's like... Satan incarnate. Only satan would have that stupid bubble force field and fly away from me like a coward. HATED IT.
Also really hated the dice game, as has been said before.
Oh, and the boss fight with Dante. Worse than the first encounter. Even though he let me have the sword I was still all worked up and 'COME ON, ROUND TWO YOU DUMBASS!'

Um.....yeah.
Ohhhh and using the DB to pull myself from point A to point B. I have terrible timing. I hate NT for bringing the concept back in DmC. I die more from falling than I do in battles.

Mind you, DMC4 was my first introduction to the franchise so of course I was on Nero's side. I still kinda hate Dante. That stuck. But I do like him more than Nero. If that makes any sense?

What else....oh, backtracking. I didn't mind it until I got to SoS mode and then it just became redundant. And I also hate the whole first half of the game because I struggle to beat up demons with Nero, demons that I know are going to be easy peasy to deal with as Dante. I strive for the switch over. I LOVE LOVE LOVE playing as Dante. More weapons, etc. With Nero I only ever used Red Queen, maybe on occasion the DB if I was losing life too fast, but I never really touch Blue Rose.
But Ebony and Ivory, I love using them but only to kick up my style in battle. Otherwise I stick to Rebellion.

I'm so narrow minded.

Not actually being able to play as Lady or Trish. Hell I still have no idea what Lady was doing there. I also didn't like how busty they made her. She was always fairly average in size and that was oddly sexy to me....

pure sex appeal my friend cant have trish hogging the spotlight but i agree you had respect for her in dmc3 she pulled her wait but dmc4 nothing but eye candy *shakes head*

I can answer only for myself. In that thread I didn't say athything like "whole game was bad". In fact I didn't say anything about what i think is the worst.

But your logic is great. "They say my toy is bad, i will answer in same way T_T"

Well if the toy I answer the same way is bad in itself, then yeah, I will say its bad solely because I thought it was purely bad.

It's like they just threw Lady into the game at the last minute for something to ogle at>_< I really liked her in DMC3, she did her best in a situation where she was really out of her depth and kept going despte the odds. But DMC4 turned her into an exaggerated and one dimensional version of her anime self. If she was not included in the game, nothing would have changed for the plot and I would not have noticed her absence.

Maybe she had some role in plans, but game was rushed and...we have what we have. But yeah, her presence did not make sense at all.

Actually, She does narration in both DMC 3 and DMC 4. A small bit but she seems to introduce a plot of the game(both DMC 3 and DMC 4).

May be capcom were superstitious to add Lady jus for that narration.

I remember her narration of DMC3 really well due to how epic that scene was...but I do not remember her narrating in DMC4:/

Technically, This isn't narration but she does introduce plot for dante.

Her quote, 'the story goes as sparda served as feudal lord.....' was used in initial trailer as well.

If the story was to be close to DMC4 novel, she was there in the background with Dante and Trish:
-She paid their boat to take them to Fortuna and to take them home.
-She fought along with Trish against demons and helped her to evacuate and protect the saved people.
Later Lady asked Dante why were the situation so messy and he said it was Trish who made the situation worse.

I gathered these bits of information in japanese sites, since novel were never translated. All we have is a summary.

Lady would have a bigger part on the plot and would be partnered with Trish in some situations. That's why Trish was always appearing and disappearing from the screen.

But it seems Capcom rushed DMC4, cutting off some of these scenes. So the writer asked Capcom blessing to publishing what was to be the original script and they endorsed in in Captivate 2009 as a "complete version" of the game.

Shame on you, Capcom!:(

-She paid their boat to take them to Fortuna and to take them home.
Knowing Lady, she would have deducted the boat money from Dante's pay after completin the mission:P She's really into getting money off Dante in the anime and DMC4.

It's a shame though that they did not put this kind of detail in the game. It would have made the overall story a lot better.
