I can understand why people think I'm la femme when I make comments like calling Dante delish, but that's because I'm bi. I think that's why john made that odd smiley too. He never really explained why he made that smiley, but it doesn't really matter anyways. Let's just stay on topic. ^^

Getting out of the column of notoriously stupid villain would be a good thing. Vergil is supposedly clever; why doesn't he use his wits and smarts instead of brute force to achieve his goals? He could get on Dante's good side to get his blood, instead he first erects the tower, kills thousands of people, gets his ass beaten by his own follower and stabs Dante multiple times half to death, without even achieving his goal.
There are smarter courses of action. Power doesn't always equal physical prowess (well, yes, in anime it does). They could have made him so much more interesting.

DMC's Dante is one of the coolest game characters ever made possibly the coolest. D*C's character i don't know... i don't know what he is but to me he's nobody a peace of **** that will never become Dante.
