What makes Ninja Theory's Dante relate-able?

^ Dante, you have my opinion on the matter. Because Ninja Theory are trying to make a Dante that is more human. So I feel their intention is to make him more relate-able to us. And at the moment, for me, I find him more so that way. Just my opinion, Dante, I would like to hear yours.

I'll just let the mods handle you from now on... Not going to get into a childish arguement with you again.

Asmodaius, please tell me one thing you don't really like about DmC Dante.

His Devil Trigger, for once... I am disappointed that he just turns into a DMC Dante look-alike instead of an actual demon. And the whole Quicksilver slowmotion aerial combat rather limits the use of the DT, in my opinion. We'll see how it plays out, but I was really hoping to see a demon/angel mix DT form! That's the one most disappointing thing about DmC so far.

That said, I don't mind that this feature is in the game, I just wish it wasn't the DT then.

If Ninja theory is trying to make a Dante that's more human then why compare it to DMC Dante?
How is that right?

So should i go and compare Mario to Monkey from Enslaved?
"Well Mario isn't a great character because he doesn't have that much inner development as Monkey. There for Mario needs to change".

It's stupid. It's no reason to put DMC Dante in a negative spotlight by talking about how DmC Dante is relateable. Though quite honestly i find VERY little relateable to DmC Dante.
If this thread is gonna be any good then it shouldn't compare DmC Dante to DMC.

I don't care about discussing anything with you. It's you who replies to me not other way around lately. And it's because of a reason - your nothing but a biased DmC supporter who wants a character to be like yourself if possible.

Ive told you how to add people to the ignore list as you 2 clearly dont get on. Would have avoided all these scenarios if you had done as I suggested.

Would have also saved a lot of the hassle if this had been the cause of action from the start.

Now I suggest you both add each other to the ignore lists otherwise warnings and bans will be used. This is the last time im going to say it...

I actually tried that, but then noticed I would miss out on the replies and then I didn't get what the discussion was about. Instead I have tried to stay mature in my responses and not going all berserk on CoolDemon, and I think it went quite well the past couple of days... until now, that is.

CoolDemon, you fail to realize why I like DmC. It's the very fact that it's based off of DMC that I want to know more about it.

Who do you see in my Avatar and my Signature?

Look at Asmo's Avatar and Signature. The old and the new, living side by side peacefully. Why can't be enjoy both DMC and DmC. To you, we cannot. It seems the only one being negative is you. You're negative towards DmC and do no accept it, whereas you accept other things like the Lara Croft Reboot (As I mentioned before).

Now I'm not putting a negative light on DMC Dante, I'm just expressing my opinion. I love Devil May Cry Dante, the guy is insanely awesome. My favorite Fan Fic that I am currently writing has DMC Dante as the main character, not DmC Dante. In fact I went with the basis that DmC Dante was just a clone of DMC Dante to serve an evil purpose of trying to kill the 'real' Dante. That is how much I would not accept DmC Dante at that moment in time, I created a story that ultimately for me tried to tell me that DmC wasn't happening. Since then I've accepting it and matured more with it. Now I like it.

Asmo can point out a problem of his with DmC. You see it as if all he does is support it, yet he can still poke holes at certain elements of it. As can I. So yeah, how are we being disrespectful to the old Dante or DMC?

If you want to argue that liking DmC doesn't make you a 'true' fan of Devil May Cry, then I think you're wrong. I think if you can't appreciate what Ninja Theory can come up (With Capcom's) assistance, then it's you who isn't really the true fan. But I won't get into that argument, that's just my opinion.

Tell me how is my berserk behaviour any different that your negative toned posts? Just because i am a loud moth and your a "sneaky" person? Your two faced. A "nice" face that you show off to portray yourself as unbiased" and a true face in which you show your dislike in the tones of your replies.

Infact you talk about how i don't understand how i just look at the surface of DmC Dante and DMC Dante. Here was my response:
DMC Dante:
Caring, playful, is a bit angry at his father ("Father? I don't have a father) and tough. He doesn't put up a play "I am tough oh yeah" he is tough. What do you expect from a character?

DmC Dante:
Tries to be cool (smoking cigarette as if he's making love) , Angry and angsty,

Now that's their "Feelings" or "inner" core from what we have observed so far.
There you have my reply. So why not reply back to that? No your two faced "Reported Cool DEmon" You don't care about discussion as long as the topic is mostly positive to DmC.

@ Lord
I can't stand toned replies. I have been cool for a while and behaved. But if toned replies that is practically arguing then how is it much different than what i do when i get angry and express why i am angry?

Toned comments:
*Face palm*
*You don't understand*

*It's waste of time trying to get him to understand*
*Reported*

I said bad things about someone i think it was DeadLegend and for that i am deeply sorry. But i will never be regret saying how Asmo and Gambling behaves.
And speaking of DeadLegend i like to discuss with him and i get the same impression too.

Just dont be baited into arguments, discussion and debate is fine flaming and such is not. All we ask is that people remain mature and stray away from being insulting towards other members. People cant have an argument with themselves and it is always a two-way exchange so more than one person is at fault here.

And since this is a DmC discussion forum, it is DmC we are here to discuss. If I was to reply to a DMC thread, then I would answer according to the thread's topic. That might be why some find me more biased towards DmC and not DMC, I guess, because I do like what I have seen so far about DmC except for a few things.

I am more capable of discussing what I don't like about DMC because I have played all the games! I haven't played DmC yet, so I can only make a statement from the released footage. And that's what I'm doing.

Just dont be baited into arguments, discussion and debate is fine flaming and such is not. All we ask is that people remain mature and stray away from being insulting towards other members.

I'll try not to. And that is why I won't reply to CoolDemon anymore.

Dark Drakan makes an excellent point. You somewhat make these things happen if you decide to view what other people are saying. The best cause of action is to just ignore things entirely by that person. View their comments if you need to. But, reply to the matter in the thread separately. If you start quoting people and directing comments at them, you're only going to make things worse.

Lastly, we're here to debate such things. Not argue about them. People can't seem to differentiate between the two.

This is something you should have done from the start when we argued first time. But you didn't listen.
I added y ou to ignore.
But i took you off list because i saw replies from you to posts of mine.

And this goes for Gambling and Asomo (and anyone who want to argue than discuss):
Don't reply to me. I don't like you two because of how you reply to me, and it's because you discuss as if it's an argument.

Okay, since we've established here that there's negativity surrounding CoolDemon, Asmodaius and GamblingGambitCloud, you can all agree to ignore each other.

Now we can move on with this thread and put all of that aside.

Ok guys, this is enough. I like the thread and the discussion, but this must stop.
CoolDemon, this time you just suddenly started cursing those you don't like, out of the blue.

The thread will be locked as most of the conversations is off topic about who likes what and how one says this etc. This isn't a playground. If you want to resume the conversation open another thread, but keep it mature and civilized.

I'm just going to reiterate something here too, because I think it is wholly unfair that CoolDemon bear the full brunt of all the blame. Some time ago we had a member who had a way with words that seemed to nudge the very boundaries of the rules only to zip back to the relative safety of the rest of the rule-abiding community whenever a member of staff turned up. This person got away with a lot for over a year before they did enough to get banned. Another member arrived not long after with the same "can't touch this" attitude. They got kicked even quicker. My point is this:

Please don't think that by couching your responses in sarcasm, smilies, superior attitudes or clever wording that the staff cannot see what's going on. The guy who yells the loudest is nearly always on the end of a sneakier person's cattle prod - I don't like this. Not at all. So stop pushing buttons; you know who you are, you know how you are phrasing things and you know it's not fair.
