What improvements would you like to see ?

well they are slow compared to vergil's beowulf

Naw.Beowolf was slow with the normal combos but added with other weapons, it can be fast. I'm saying the normal three hit combos for every gauntlet weapon is pretty slow compared to say, hand to hand combat speed of any Dragonball game. I know Dragonballs different, but I mean in terms of speed for a second punch from the first.

As others have mentioned, I would also like to have even some demon weapons that weren't so slow. Or an option to upgrade the weapons to be faster. I'm not completely against it that there are pros and cons in all the weapons, it's very understandable, but I still wouldn't want all of them to be so strict. In Heavenly Sword I sometimes found myself frustrated because of this "either strenght or speed" mentality.
Yes, I was thinking about it yesterday actually, about how the weapon design in this game is very "western", they don't approach it thinking about variety and how it would help the game's combat in-depth, but just go with the standard generic archetypes, the slow but powerful weapon, or the weak but fast crowd-controlling weapon. Eryx seems to be quite fast compared to Arbiter, but it's moveset seems just so limited combowise.

Tell that to the speed and fps whores on Youtube who complained about this game literally moving at the same speed of other DMC games but compare it to the Turbo Modded, FPS-drugged up, and speed editing combo videos of the PC DMC games....mainly DMC4....DMC3 was actually pretty fast on the console.
Next time they complain explain to them that the main reason the combo vids look so fast is because the attack animations are being cancelled often and repeatedly. When an animation is cancelled into another you get a much faster effect than if, as normal players do, you allow the full animation to proceed before chaining it into the next extended one. Normal DMC gameplay does not look like that. A click to any one of the MANY slower uglier amateur walkthroughs on YouTube would settle that.
