What improvements would you like to see ?

it's not anything too spectacular but in DMC 3&4 I could hop over an enemy, rainstorm, and attack from behind. works great on those armor angel dudes.

um thanks but...no.

enemy step and rainstorm isn't what I'm looking for. in dmc3 I could easily enemy step every chest piece and rainstorm them, seamlessly switching from enemy to enemy without touching the ground. all that u showed me was how the new rainstorm cannot move at all. and where is the dual enemy shooting with e&I?

Oh sorry. I read your post wrong.

You mean Two Some Time.....yeah how can they do that without a style button..but DMC2 was able to do it without a style button...but it was automatic....I guess move the left analog stick around or spin it like how in Bayonetta she does that while shooting and she performs her 360 degree shooting.......I never understood Two Some Time in the original games so I barely used it.

well the stopping power of two some time =p is way more stronger than your regular bullets. and can take down guards pretty easily. dmc3. has the superior style. the aiming in dmc4 was stupid and they fired automatically.

if DmC has two some time like dmc2 I'll be fine. dmc2 is the only game that let you fire your pistol while carrying a shotgun. how BA is that?

I would like to see young Nero make an appearance, or even better (his own game?) perhaps an in game unlock, substantial in it's own right, but nevertheless one that takes unlocking.)
I found the devs explanation on why there is no taunt, understandable; yet taunting is something that once mastered, raises stylish points significantly and is greatly satisfying to us.
I'm sure the finished product will be a spectacle to behold, yet will it be easy to pick up-play-learn? I am usually rubbish at first with DMC, but eventually master them. ie: DMC4 logged 4000+ hrs and can fly and fight continuously now.
Oh ninja theory, I hope you get this right, or you will have killed one of the greatest games for the true hardcore warriors and warrioresses
Do we get proud souls?!

Also, I'd love to chat to girls who play DMC4!! they must be cooooooooooooooooooool!!

just fixing any glitches is good for me. buut if i could change one thing, itd be using the environment as a weapon. in the 2010 TGS trailer we saw dante throw a car at some demons, that got me all excited cuz i thought that maybe we could use environment as a weapon. eg smash a building and use the debree to take out demons. i thought it would be awesome as it would add a real tactical element to the game

I think the rainstorm is stationary now, like you have noticed. The difference lies in the start up of the animation. In DMC3 and 4, if you jump in a certain direction, the animation would pull Dante up in the air a little bit and move him towards the direction the jump was. In DmC, the animation cancels Dante's jump entirely and falls down on the spot.

Rainstorm in past games was also a lot faster, and could be used in between combos to jump from one place to another. In DmC, it seems to be used as a way to end a combo, as a stylish way to fall to the ground... it also does more damage. The inverse rainstorm is really useful to get up in the air though.

Do we get proud souls?!

Proud Souls were introduced in DMC4 as a different type of currency to differentiate the moves from items. So you could use the red orbs for items only and proud souls for unlocking moves. Red orbs had always serve as the only currency in past DMCs, as far as I can remember.

So proud souls have not been confirmed yet, but I would not be too surprised if they don't have them and use red orbs for everything, moves and items.

Main worry is the camera when going high into the air (Since that looks easy as hell to do now)
I can see the ceilings being a problem in that department

Also autolocking whilst trying to do specific things. For example, launch enemy, angel grip up and punch higher, then demon pull another enemy up that is just to the side and below the one you just launched in the air. Close range that problem is solved with the angel weapon scoop, but longer range it may be a little bit of an annoyance.

I feel bad disagreeing with someone using such amazing avatar and signature, but unfortunately I do, it would not do the stylish gameplay any good if you could smash something in the environment by accident and it would ruin your combo, imagine if you're recording a combo video and then a building accidentaly collapses and kills everyone on the screen...

I doubt he meant it like that....I would like too see how that works in a DMC game.

@angelmode

that's exactly what I don't want to happen. and I think its far too late to fix or change now?

also, if you can cancel out of the rainstorm with the air Dodge, I'll be able to adjust just fine.
