Anthony is right, in that companies are just going the Naughty Dog route and recycling their games. On the other side, games these days take ages to develop, so the price increase may be somewhat justifiable.
As for micro transactions, I hate that practice myself. In old games, you were rewarded with unlocks based on how well you played. Whereas now you don't get all the costumes, secret fighters or whatever, unless you get the season pass or DLC packs. Just seems like a bit of a rip off way of going about your business.
