As well, these Sony consoles are for me some kind of always problems. Firstly it began with PS 1 and continues to my PS 3, PSP not failed like these stationary consoles.

My PS1 still works very well. I used to have a fat PS2 and that one died (the motor to make the disc tray open broke) but my thin PS2 works fine. Needs to be hit a couple times cuz the disc likes to stop spinning though.

As for my PS3, it has very little use, so it's had no problems so far.

But if I don't hit it, the disc doesn't spin. Trust me, I've waited from 1-10 minutes for it to go on it's own. It doesn't.

My consoles already aren't happy with me. But they know that I'll beat them up if they disobey, so it's all good.

The only one that up and quit on me was my 64, and I wasn't happy about that...

That would've made it worse. XD It "works" in that it gets power and responds to commands, but the AV cable port is fried.
