I think I torture him more in the character prompts than the actual story itself. Like, instead of getting those scars from a Slasher thingy, he gets him from his dad and brother.

Well if it's a humour fic, go crazy with the funnies! It doesn't necessarily have to go anywhere, as long as it makes sense, has strawberries, and is the best you can do.
Are you writing by hand? You can always type it into a word doc - does the magic numbers for you.
