i has autism good thing is that i got all the good stuff from it :troll: when miss was talking about autistic people in biology i was like: ehem miss i have autism and you don't see me doing that -_-

I was like that with asthma...
My doctor thinks that I have aspergers because all of the stuff that I have matches the 'symptoms' of it (but like i've said to Shadow, there's no one that specialises in Aspergers in Cornwall).
Eye contact is a big problem for me. I tend to either look at the floor or over peoples shoulders. Really cannot look someone in the eye...

Or if you ask them if they could please open a window, they'd be like, yeah sure I can. But then they won't. Because the question wasn't posed correctly. You'd have to tell them, please go open that window over there, and they'd do it. Or if they're constantly kicking their legs while seated and you say 'stop that' or 'don't do that' they'd be like 0.0, but if you say, please keep your feet on the floor, they'd get it. Sometimes a physical prompt is necessary like patting their knee or something too.

Mind you, my daughter has 'mild' autism, as in, not severe enough to get her into the special ed unit. She's mainstream. She's still very obviously autistic with the way she processes things and she does do a bit of stimming every now and again. Where did they say your autism lies on the spectrum? Do you have high functioning or low functioning autism?

i don't know when i was 3 my mum was talking to the doctor about it i only found out about my autism a couple of years ago

My aspergers is mild, perhaps that is another reason why my doctor wouldn't refer me... along with all of the other reasons why he won't refer me...
It's true, I've just realized I have to be instructed clearly or else I'm... :|
I've got a habit of jiggling my leg, if someone tells me to stop it, i won't, someone has to stop me. But I don't know if leg jiggling comes under it.
Personally, i don't feel like i could join a forum about it because mine isn't officially diagnosed.
