Gabriel Reyes needs to eat me.
Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

If this isn't some Mary-Sue OC bullsh*t that has barely any emotional effects, 'limp' sex scenes and standard 'everything that goes wrong suddenly is right' plot devices, then what I write is on the level of Stephen King.

Probably ridiculous and harsh to say, but that book is a let-down.

Man this story is awful!

"Plough the lilies"
The World of Ice and Fire by Elio M. Garcia JR and Linda Antonsson with George R.R. Martin

It details the history of Westeros, and also the major figures of it's history. It's a fake history if you will, but it's so rich and immersive, and it proves that George R.R. Martin is also a fantastic world builder. The art works are also freaking phenomenal oh my gods by the old and the new. Samples:

Meet Aegon I Targaryen.

"After: First Light"

Zapheads = New Zombies?

[They don't eat you, they're just really violent... they only eat your corpse apparently after they get really hungry ('cause they'll eat anything) -- but the violence comes first.]

So, you have the power outages (Mad Max style) PLUS the "neo-zombie" outbreak... all caused by solar flares.

If this idea ever takes off, we'll never hear the end of it in movies, shows, books and games... ever.

Anyway, it's free on "Nook" devices, I think. It's not a bad novel, overall. I enjoyed it, and I usually really dislike anything involving zombies.
