No, the advance version can't have any extras... That ain't right.
When they remade FFI and FFII for the PSP they had also the before extras from both the PS and gameboy version, with an added dungeon for each (extremely challenging too...).

You mean you can't fight Zeromus EG in FFIV DS?
 
Nope. There's no such thing as Zeromus EG in the DS version. You still fight Zeromus though. Too bad Golbez still isn't playable... I think he's fully playable in the After Years though.

Still playing Metroid Prime 2. I beat Emperor Ing, and now I have to fight Dark Samus. WITH A TIMER, because the damn planet's collapsing. LOVE-freaking-LY.
 
Well i am pretty happy about playing this, Shadow of the colossus one of the best games EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
Oh, dude! Shadow of the Colossus! I have that! It's my favorite game ever! It looks like a 360 game, but it's on a PS2! Amazing graphics, and the cinematic gameplay is just to die for! I love SotC to death!

I'm gonna play that now! I forgot I even had it...

Which Colossus so far is your favorite, CD?
 
^Blood omen? Is that the legacy of kain series?

I usually jumped down the water on purpose, it was fun. But that was 7 years ago and I haven't played more than the beginning of Blood omen.
 
Well, now that I can finally walk, talk and it at a desk I'm 'forced' to work on coursework, but I'm squeezing in some FFXIII atm and Pokemon SS.

Is it me, or is Hope a really useless character O_o

My setup is Lightning, Fang and Hope, and Hope just sucks.
He is outclassed (currently) by Vanille, and I'm just about to swap him for her.

The only reason (currently) to keep him around is because of his Synergists role, however, because Fangs Saboteurs role is soo limited, I feel I can sacrifice the syne for a far better sab...am I missing anything here? Does anyone know if Hope and Fang develop their roles further, because Fangs Sab role is just terrible -- Slow and Curse only? WTH?
 
Fangs sab role will have everything but poison later on, I say keep Fang cause she is also the best commando until Sazh becomes god (he pretty much does O.o, skill wise, not story wise, I don't wanna spoil that).

Hope is bad? What have you upgraded with him? Peanut butter?
He got the best magic stat, all magics for ravager (exception for the -strikes attacks), synergist only missing vigilance, no annoying screamy sounds when he attacks.
Only bad thing he got the worst HP of all, I think I can change him to Lightning so my team will be Sazh/Fang/Lightning.

Slow is a savior, Vanille's early Deprotect and Deshell is good but Fang get's both later on.
You'll need a synergist on your team if your on chapter 11+. Two saboteurs can be good but not in the long run.
A sentinel is also great to use for a painfree healing.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl.

2009 Complete mod installed with it gives it the graphical awesomeness somewhere near Crysis.
I'm certainly liking this game, has the perfect amount of atmosphere, though the storytelling leaves something to be desired, scrolling texts of doom, anyone?
 
^ Tell me about it, I mean the atmosphere and gameplay makes up for the faults, but when I'm told key parts of the story through a MASSIVE wall of text, I just go "TL;DR!", hit accept then run and kill whatever's in my path, hoping that whatever dies along the way is somehow related to the objective.

Seriously, if it were done through conversation, or a cutscene, I wouldn't mind, but wall of text = NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
 
^ You're never too old for pokemon. I still play now and again, though I'm stuck in nostalgia mode, I'm adamant in only playing the originals.
