^Is that your favorite one? It's pretty good, I believe.

Almost got all secrets, could've done the 100 levels on via infinite a third time but I stopped at level 40. I HATE VIA INFINITE!
I came all the way and killed everything until I meet some old guy doing Chuck Norris on you...

My favorite FF... That'll take some time to figure out...

FFI: Great replayability, feels awesome in gameplay, little to no story, one epic quote from Garland.

FFII: Good replayability, hard to get used to but fun gameplay, got a shallow story that I was quite fond of.

FFVI: Great replayability, awesome gameplay with loads of awesome characters, got a deep thrilling story, KEFKA!!!

FFVII: Great replayability, awesome gameplay, extremely deep storyline, lacks fun after story completion but restarting the game.

FFVIII: Not so much replayability, pretty good gameplay, deep story with occasonally irritating sequences where they just stand still for 20 seconds, lots of sidequests which is pretty funny.

FFX: Not so much replayability, good gameplay but I didn't like the constant character switching, deep story with sometimes annoying laughs (HAHAHAHAHAHA), got a long tiresome grinding side quest and quests for ultimate weapons.

FFXII: Not so much replayability, good gameplay, political story, little to no character development, heck alot of sidequest but a big gap between levels where to grind near endgame.

FFXIII: Not any replayability at all, great gameplay, deep story, extremely funny sidequests and grinding ain't a pain no longer, it's funny now.

So far, those on my list gotta be (just counting the main series, no spinoffs):

FFI, FFVI, FFVII (Yeah ,I know), FFVIII, FFXIII.

^ I don't see FFIII or FFIV on your list. I take it that you haven't played them yet?
I totally agree with you that Via Infinito is so ANNOYING! I quit after the boss fight were Kinoc turns into that big spider fiend.-__-

I'm thinking about countinuing just for the sake of getting the perfect ending.XD
But yes, it is my favorite FF besides IV.

My fave FF was FF9! It was cheesy, but I loved it!

Final Fantasy 9 is actually coming to PSN but so far, only in Japan. I really hope it comes out in the US though. I've never played it before and that's my only chance at playing it.X3

Yeah, I just read this on another thread. I'm very pleased, I hope it comes out over here, I'm wondering why they chose 9? Out of all the FF games? I'm not complaining tho! :D

God Slaying Blades
Playing one of the saddest, maddest and totally worth every CG in it,game of Nitro+ : Full Metal Daemon Muramasa!Life seriously sucks for the main...for all of them actually...

And then some Fate/Stay Night[Unlimited Blade Works Route] just and only to bathe in sheer awesomeness.

I'm playing Final Fantasy XII.

After alot of thinking, this is actually better than Final Fantasy XIII if not counting character development and story.
It got awesome dungeons, much freedom, lots and lots of sidequests, lots of different enemies and not the same friggin' 20 enemies with palette swaps and minor changes.
It's also a big plus since they got, wait for it...

GILGAMESH!

Ohh, and I love the battle system. Why do people say Gambits are neccesary to beat the game? I beat the last boss totally underleveled without gambits...
Just set the battle screen to wait instead of active.

God Slaying Blades
^...Just beat Unlimited Blade Works scenario[Fate/Stay Night] again, that means I kicked some serious Gilgamesh butt. The guy is really satanic in that scenario.

Anyway playing Fate/Unlimited Codes with Archer.Gotta love the clothes.Red coats are always awesome.

Hmph... Gilgamesh wasn't killed in any way. He barely falled back to show you his true strength when the time comes. He is now in another dimension searching for the sword of legend, nothing more than he usually do.

What game was that? I need to know that game!

Devil Bane

God Slaying Blades
^Sorry to break it,but Gilgamesh is deader than last year's corpse of dead Dread McDead, the deadest human being in the world.A non existant person is more alive than him.

And going to the serious part of the discussion,it's the Fate / series, namely the Visual Novel Fate/Stay Night for pc.Check it on wiki. And this Gilgamesh is the real deal, the King of Heroes himself. And dead, twice.I still like him though. And for the finishing touch :

[Tomokazu Seki's voice] : Hm,you mongrel,know your place.Gate of Babylon...Enuma EISH!

And now playing as Archer,Shiro Emiya,Assassin,Gilgamesh,Lancer and Zero Lancer in Fate/Unlimited Codes.

GAWDDD!!

I'll check it out!

Gilgamesh is not dead. His death was just an illusion. He did not find the sword of legend so he travelled the dimensions to search for it somewhere else, Ivalice I believe.

Devil Bane

God Slaying Blades
Switched to Kentaro Miura's epic,Berserk for the PS2.Also listening The wonders at your feet by Dark Tranquility, because the game needs soundtrack like that.

And which Gilgamesh are you talking about aka?The ff one or The Fate / one?

Gilgamesh has many forms, the Fate/ one really sucked but still. Gilgamesh travels through dimensions in different forms searching for the sword of legend and eternal life.

I'm talking about Gilgamesh, in any game, he is still the same Gilgamesh, just another form or on another journey.

You know, there's this REALLY wacky theory about the FFV Gilgamesh that my friend made up. Okay, he says that the Gilgamesh that fought Necrophobe actually died. Then, due to the chaotic nature of the void, BOOM, out pops another Gilgamesh, with no recollection of what had happened, and he goes on his merry way.

Weird, but it could work.

Huh? No, he never died. He decided to think it never happened and then he travelled the dimensions hunting after the sword of legend until later he returned to finish what he started there.

Devil Bane

God Slaying Blades
No ofence aka,but it would be best to read the Epic of Gilgamesh[yes, the mythology book about the REAL Gilgamesh] and then re-read about Fate / Gilgamesh. If you still don't see him in a new light or a light diffferent from the FF one,it's ok.

Also for demon genral : HOLY SWEET MOMMA,what is that?It really scared me?Is it from a game?[Is it from Prototype?]
