vg24/7 calls out the "haters"

I think it's sad that at this point the backlash to the backlash has eclipsed the voice of people who have real issues with this game. I think the initial super crazy fan hate that has been going around for the past few years left a bad taste in a lot of observers mouth's and people with valid critiques are just lumped in the the nutty fans who do only care about hair.

I blame it on crazy trolls being waaaay to vitriolic and vocal over superficial issues and creating the false appearance that anyone who does not like the reboot is a ****ed off hater

I believe that honestly. When the game was first announced, everyone went crazy. Including me. I'm sure there are some supporters of the game who thought the same way too, before the gameplay was shown of the game.

However, I do believe that another portion of the problem could be due to hardcore pro-DmC fans that take things to the extreme. I've even ran across a conversation that basically showed that the fan did not care if the gameplay was bad or not.

Now, I'm not saying that all pro-DmC fans all are like this. I am positive that a good amount of users on this forum liked DmC with good explanations rather than just taking whatever that's given to them.

Yeah it goes both ways, the lesson to be learned is that loudmouth douche bags will ruin anything for everyone and in the end just end up making the entire DMC fanbase look like immature bickering kids
 
I honestly like this article. It's fairly obvious who exactly she's talking to. I guess anyone opposed to the game just feels offended, but...it's not about all of you.

There are indeed some truth in what she wrote. Some gamers overreact to the point of ridiculousness, and it becomes shameful for the rest of us to call ourselves for gamers. She hit the nail right on.

Now, I can see how you guys see this as adding fuel to the fire, but you must admit that there are indeed people who needs to get a reality-slap like this.

It has been 10 years and in youtube theres NONE RANT VIDEO about DMC3 or others (i havent search, but im sure itis)
and im gonna show you 300 RANT videos of DmC in 1 year

The thing is, both sides are at fault, no matter how you twist it around. Both "haters" and "supporters" stops at nothing to **** talk the other side thinking they have done nothing wrong themself.

If you honestly think one side is "rightful" then you are not paying attention to the situation.
 
*Sigh*, even tho she called out the haters, this kind of article can hurt us "gamers".

If you look at more than 10 years ago, being called a gamer meant you were a nerd, geek, anti-social etc.
But now since you have professional gamers getting paid for playing games, it turned that stereotype gamer viewed in a new light, saying that being a gamer can be cool after all. And it went on and on till being nerdy/geeky was kinda cool in a sense that being a gamer didnt outcast you socially as it did before. Still you can say, gaming as a hobby or past time and ppl will accept you for it, maybe even ask you what games to play.

Now she is bashing gamers portraying that they over-reacting, whiny stupid people, that have nothing else to do with their time, and she doesnt want to associate with that. And since the "haters" only cared about the aesthetics of the character design, it kinda fuelled the old-gen dmc gamers to bash on the new-gen dmc gamers.
Hate be-gets hate, cmon if you played online you gotta be thick skinned and dont let any of the stupid stuff people say get to you. But she took a jab at the hard-core DMC fans, the stupid whiny kind. This wont end well at all.

I'm a hard-core dmc fan, the technical kind, where my favourite one was DMC3. That game was pretty much broken down in terms of mechanics, and applying all that tech to create flashy combos made dmc what its supposed to be. Now after finishing the new DmC i find it really REFRESHING playing this reboot, i didnt really care that dante has his hair changed or a different kind of story. I only cared that there was a NEW dmc since DMC4 wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be.

But belittling "gamers" as a whole is stupid. Still the article pretty much speaks the truth on these stupid hardcore dmc fans. *Sigh*, why cant they just accept how GREAT this game is.

So what do you think about people that just simple doesn't like DmC for valid reason rather than saying "It's ****"?
 
You are a tantrum throwing fanboy hater if you do not automatically like this game. CAPCOM and NT and numerous reviewers/followers of DmC have hinted as much with the way they acted all through this. And they all must be right by default, of course.

Jk, I have many negative reasons about the new game too, which i pointed before. But that doesnt make me prejudice about the positives.

The hate started with white hair. In first debut trailer, every comment was about white hair.
Then it turns out Tameem, then emo dante, then worst gameplay ever, than terrible voice acting and then terrible demo.
I just dont believe you guys. To me you are just stubborn about this.
You think the world only turns around you.
