They are part of the demon, notice how they also appear when the demon makes its appearance. The reason why it looks like they are swarming it is because they are staying close to him... I don't know how this demon works so the reason for the crows is kinda left to speculation.

His DT bar also has the classic "nodes" as opposed to Dante's. Which makes me wonder what type of DT he will have, if any. The reason for that type of bar may also have something to do with the sword summoning (or whatever move that consumes it), it will make easier for people to calculate how much they are going to use when doing the move.

Anyway, I guess that the new gameplay happens after the events of DmC, then.

Probably Vergil is trapped in hell and he must fight his way out.
 
Yeah, it's not a DLC unlock code like Yoda and Vader were on Soul Caliber 4, this is entirely seperate programing NT has been working on and has to be added to the memory drives. technically, it could be, in theory, played without the game disc even.
 
I think Capcom has finally learned their lesson with on-disc DLC. But I don't really blame anyone for assuming they haven't, considering they've done it for years and DmC is the first game Capcom has released for a while to presumably not have any.

Vergils Downfall isn't disc locked BUT the pre-order skins are. I don't think having any disc locked content is good. But Vergils Downfall isn't locked....well I'll wait until someone on NeoGAF hacks the game open to see if it isn't.
 
Ohh thank you for posting this, I really like how he fights looks fun to play around with as well and also I love the fact he does not look so put together and pristine..more unhinged if I say so that crazed look in his eyes.
 
Wow Vergil's gameplay looks very well done!
I love his quick mobility and his nostalgia moves. Looks like this will add quite a bit of additional content to DmC so I'm happy. :)
 
Vergil's gameplay seems to be a mix of Dante's, Vergil's from DMC3, and Dante's gameplay of DMC4 in there a little.

I like it. along with that drop kick coming back too.^_^
 
I wonder was he crazy before all this and was good at hiding how unhinged he really is and whatever happened made him loose his hold on the clam clean picture he presented himself...or maybe little by little he really starts to lose it because now Dante is here and he can see his plans coming closer to being realized..and any little mess up would make him loose hold a bit. lol
