It's a joke right? Funny!!!! Same deal with changing Dante's design and saying he's not cool anymore and he'd be replacing old Dante...again, why say it?

Oh yeah, broke back Dante can walk around with a sword in his chest, while 'Cool Dante' stands in front of a mirror screaming in agony pulling something out his chest despite being this awesome half demon, half angel dude.

I do not understand your logic. For one, Dante in DMC is cool:

If you just look at DMC 4 Dante and go "Well he had cowbow chaps, so not cool!", of course then he's not cool. But even goofy Dante from DMC 4 is funny as hell - and that makes him cool:
But there isn't ONE Dante, and if any of the Dante's is more Dante than others, its DMC 1 Dante. And as you can see above, HE IS cool.

Now Ninja theory's vision to create a DmC with contemporary setting doesn't make Dante not cool. It just means Dante from DMC isn't meant to be in a contemporary setting, it says NOTHING about Dante not being cool. For instance i could place Kain or Raziel in a contemporary setting and say "Well herp derp they are ancient vampires therefor they are herp derp not cool herp derp".
It's such ignorant logic to put a videogame character into a realistic setting (that clearly was meant to be in a unrealistic setting) and say he isn't cool because he doesn't fit into that setting.
It's even more ignorant to expect that Dante from DMC wouldn't have modern clothes if he lived in a modern world.

And if Dante doesn't fit into the world of DmC, then why do we have these:

A half angel/half demon who has a sword, two guns, white hair. Yes DmC Dante is very fitting for a contemporary setting. I see DmC Dante's on the street everyday.

How are we trolling? My complaints are pretty legit and I'm not trying to get a reaction out of anyone.

Just another day in the House of the Devil May Cry Community. Except...No one really likes Devil May Cry here.

Again, Dante was never designed to be a deep, complex character for a "mature" audience. It's completely alright if you disliked the old Dante, but just because you're fine with a more modern and normal Dante in DmC, doesn't mean the fans who loved the stylish character from past games are wrong for favouring him.

Criticizing Dante's design as well is also pretty dangerous because it's iconic and many love it. If you're going to do that, you may as well attack Spider-Man and Wolverine's rather odd dress code and appearance.

It's maybe special if you don't know the few characters Dante basically just rips off. Like I said, the very first version we ever see of Dante is still my favorite but I don't think the new look for Dante is that big a deal since:
1. He changes with every game anyway
2. DmC's entire intention was a more contemporary Devil May Cry to begin with
3. He still basically acts like Dante anyway. Cocky, spouts occasional one liners, and has a sense of justice. That's pretty much all you need and you have Dante.

When the change is not so drastically different in the first place then that's where the problem arguing Dante in DmC is some taboo change to a very weak character to begin with. You can't go anywhere but up with the guy honestly after they drove him so deep in to the grounds of trite anime trends and cliche style. Dante needs to revert back to how he was in the first game. Cocky but not in your face about it and also not doing it in a way where he just comes off as stupid.
