I hope they fix the UI. I've never liked it in dmc, its too distracting. And the style system should remain, so it can act as the Q when the music changes. I was thinking, what if an announcer would yell out when you reached S, SS, and SSS instead of you having too avert your eyes. Like MvC3 yells out crap. of course havee the option to turn on and off. It would give it an arcade feel.

I hope they implement an automatic checkpoint save.
I can't tell you how many times the kids got hold of my DMC and saved OVER my already saved games.
I want something like F.3.A.R. I don't want the option of saving my game in a slot, I want the game to save itself so I can just carry on from the next checkpoint, y'know?

Also, the forum kinda reminds me of the DmC reboot. No ranks. We're keeping in tune with the New Direction. Ha ha ha /lame humour.
 
Oh yes. not just an auto save feature but the whole Chapter select screen could us a face lift. What i would also like to see is the screen should go red when your health is low. In bayonetta there were devil hands reaching all around the screen which was pretty cool. I like the dismemberment and the black fluids that spray and stain the floors, i just would like it if it was more explicit like NG2 on xbox. there hasnt been any taunts seen yet so i hope they're still in the game, and i hope they go all out on the taunts to give dante more personality.

agreed, i would love to see stylish dismemberment since this dante is more violent, and awesome taunts would just add insult to injury :)
 
Wait, so other characters like Vergil, Nero, and Trish COULD be in this game? Vergil with black hair will look totally weird. Nero was already a interesting character so what will this reboot do to him?

and yup anything can go for this reboot, and since we don't know anything about the story who knows what characters might show up!

well I don't think Nero will be in this one since the new Dante practically is Nero, but I hope that we get to see Vergil, and maybe since he's more in touch with his demon side his hair is already completely white, and since this is a reboot anything can happen, maybe Vergil is Dante's half-brother and is 100% demon, we don't know, everything is possible, and that's why it's so exiting:D
 
You got to think bigger man.
they have the whole disjointed canon to play with.
i wanna see them pull characters from everywhere.

i dont think nero is a character we need to see right now.
 
I see. Well that's the wonder of reboots you can do anything. My only wish is for a good story and unlockable original Dante bonus costume.

Well a good story is pretty much the only thing that we are guaranteed since it's NT, I would also love to see a DMC1 and 3 costume, but I don't think Tameem will do it.
Anyway since this is a reboot, what do you think they'll do with Sparda?

I dunno what they'll do with both of his parents. I hope we get to see them at some point, maybe the photograph will still be there. But what i do know is NT likes to start off their games with alot of excitement and epic moments like in HS you fought Bahan's army and Enslaved, i almost died when the wing of the plane collided with the building.. it was epic. Cant wait to see how crazy DmC's will be

To be honest I haven't the faintest clue. I totally forgot about him. (Yet his name appears in my username lol)
 
^lol, and now that I think about it there is no more Eva, or at least she's an angel now, so... that means Dante's mother is alive?

I just hope she isn't the top angel on the pic with Dante and the angels, 'cause that would make for awkward conversation at the diner table...
