V and Urizen are basically Ventus and Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts so I'm hoping for a Persona influence.

jokes aside- I'm interested in seeing the government response to demons. Having an arms race be in the background of the plot is a way to do a better satire than the reboot and build out the world of DMC more.

If new director takes over DMC and nerfs all of Itsuno's OCs donutsteel then makes Dante obsessed with his own OCs instead, wouldn't it be funny? When everyone wants to insert their fanfiction to interact with franchise mascot?

Pvp fights where you can fight one of the characters with another character as a blood palace special stage

Allowing two people to fight each other for fun

Graphics And Artstyle:
Graphics are WAY MORE IMPORTANT than people think. I absolutely cannot stand how UGLY DMC5's levels are, and how odd some of the characters look. I loved the more anime mixed with some realism art-style of DMC4 and imagine if DMC5 had looked like this instead:
I love diverse, colourful environments. Many argue the series has had this problem before DMC5, but I'd disagree, I found all previous settings interesting, even DMC3. I don't know how, but they managed to make a grey tower very interesting to go through. However, I still believe DMC4 and DmC did it best.
Yeah, I definitely want something DMC4-looking. DMC5 is just ugly.

Both of you aren't even talking about graphics, you're talking about the visual style and the visual architecture of the levels.

Mere graphics are definitely leaps and bounds above DMC4. I can't believe there's still people in 2025 who confuse graphical fidelity with art direction.

Graphical fidelity is a tool to express art. It is literally irrelevant on its own.

So I really don't get why people focus on it so much. Many of the best looking games I had seen had come out before 2010.

One thing I don't want to see is the world casually just reset to how things were pre-5. Things prior were somewhat local problems and could at least flimsily be handwaved as covered up, but what happens in 5 is total apocalypse level and I want to see the franchise actually acknowledge that and advance the world in a meaningful way - how human society has reacted to the knowledge of demons becoming public, how technology evolves to counter them, and how the job of demon hunting changes especially when it comes to people like Nero who is part demon.
