" As this process has only just commenced in the past month or so, there will be some titles, where development began some time ago and that are scheduled for release in the coming months, for which we are unable to make changes to the way some of their post release content is delivered."

If people don't quite understand the controversy of on disc DLC and need me to clarify on that I will.

Well It could be great for people who have laggy net when more than 1GB of data can make slow download into hours or days.

The better thing is to actually give the people with laggy net the full game that they are entitled to. Hopefully me and others gamers can turn to guides on how to make Disclocked content accessible without any consequences :)

SVEN QUOTE:
Owners of Dragon’s Dogma will be able to further their gameplay experience with the release of additional quests, weapons and other items in the months following the game going on sale.

In other words there are already quests, weapons and other items that´s disc locked on Dragon Dogma game. Money greedy scums.

Actually if you bought a product with disclocked content, sense it's your product you can hack it to crack the code.

Yes, i know. I am just thinking online consequences like when you have a pirated disc when playing Xbox online. And i think Capcom asked help from gamers to spot the people who had cracked the disc of SF x Tekken for the 12 additional characters so that they could bank them.

Lol Yeah Sven made a post and closed it within less of 24 hours. No one posted on it which is why Sven went to Microsoft. However they are searching for jailbreaked(hacked) 360s not pirated STxT discs.

well sounds to me that this article is mostly talking about dragon's dogman, and says nothing about DmC. the last thing capcom needs to do to drive away customers is put locked on disc content for DmC.

Reason being why because gamers were asking about the DLC that came with the 360 controllers for DD, believing it to be on disc. It's just the top part that got me because he is clearly hinting that some games coming out this year have some form of it.

And Im predicting that some will try to unlock it on any console, well not all people have good net for donwload or activate lastly an DLC on their console.

true. capcom better pick their next actions wisely because not only are they gonna **** off the dragon's dogma fans but they will end up ****ing off the devil may cry fans, and then what's left for them? resident evil 6 fans which would decrease because they would more than likely be afraid that resident evil 6 would have on disk locked content! capcom you really need to stop with the dlc before you bankrupt yourself.

If that's the case it'll be difficult to spot the people who hacked the disc since DmC doesn't have online interactions.
We can't say that for sure since DMC4 had a leardship board. DmC might have the samething but they are so tight lipped about the game.

even with an online leaderboard, how would people be able to tell that you hacked on disc content from a leaderboard?

Ninja Theory fans who never played any Devil May Cry game trying to pass themselves as one with DmC? O_o

Hmm good question. My guess is since consoles send info out to leaderboards (serial number game data etc) the server which the leaderboard is on can detect alterations to the console. This is a rough guess on my part.

Who cares about DmC for console don Berto :) I will most likely pirate the PC version.
Though something tells me they will cancel PC version.
