Like lemon juice tea? Thanks, I'll give it a try. I've been taking honey and cranberry juice but it's still terrible.

Yes like lemon juice tea, it soothes the throat and if you inhale the vapours from the cup it will clear your sinus and airways which also helps

Also I'm still having cough and sore throat. Guess I'm not recovering due to stress. My heart goes like a maniac 24hrs a day.

I hate colds. I haven't had one in months. Last year in March, I had one. Knocked me for ten. Usually, I get them mild. This one was annoying. It took like a week to clear up.

Fishermen's Friend lozenges are really strong menthol sweets that help to soothe your throat. Jakeman's are like Tunes. Or try Lockets.

Lozenge was a new word for me

Fisherman's are sold here as well, other brands are unknown to me. I use Carmolis and just pure honey.
It helps a bit, but I guess the final recovery comes only when I get rid of this constant stress. I've been working overtime for long time and I've got some really hard stuff on my desk, as well as hard-playing opponents lol. PTO comes just in time.

I'm not gonna turn my work phone on during that week, just telling my team to postpone all meeting or court requests during that week until I get back. I guess that's the best medicine.

I do have some sedatives that I take in situations like this if I cannot sleep properly. But I usually avoid getting my body to sleep with sedatives and awake with pills that are basically speed (ADHD stuff, got a prescription for them ofc). It's not a healthy way to treat one's body.
And I'm having too much work to skip stimulants this week.
