There is still a very long wait for before DMC's release and I wanted to share what aspects of the game has got me excited and what is setting me off :

THE GOOD:

-Dante looks good: He actually does!! he isn't the Emo fag shown in TGS but a completely different character and I have no complains about him

- The combat seems to be good and free flowing according to many sources:

-Good music so far :
Combichrist - Never surrender
Sent to destroy

-Stunning Graphics: NT has given us some great backgrounds and facial expressions of the characters

-A badass boss battle gameplay footage: So we can expect all the boss battles to be epic

THE BAD:

- The Devil trigger : This is'nt really bad but it really isn't a DT is it? To me it's like quicksilver with enemies floating in the air
DmC-combat-devil-trigger-655x360.jpg

-Too much Satire: I dont know about u but I wanted DmC to have minimum involvement with politics and stuff.

-Dialogue : Dante's dialogues are downright cheesy sometimes

"I'm gonna come over there and rip you apart"
"I'm Dante and you can call me Dante the demon killer"

These are just some of the aspects of the game and I may have missed out some so please Feel free to add to what has been written and i'll update it.
So what have u got to say on which aspects of the game has got u excited and which hasn't?

well when it comes to his DT it still has the features of the original just not the form. His speed and power both increase.
Dante likes to talk smack, thats nothin new.

everything looks cool....but as for the DT they said that this is just the first form.....there will be a demon form later in the game :)

I didn't say it's bad , I just dont like the enemies floating around thing
Some enemies might be to heavy to float so maybe just the fodder float?

but as for the DT they said that this is just the first form
A link to this would be nice please add one.

im actually disapointed that they changes somethings about dante since the TGS trailer, the facial features was as Tameen put it "altered to match the physical expressions of the actor" and i have no problems there buuuut they removed dantes smoking, i know its not a big deal but i thought it may be interesting if he did smoke and then gave it up. but what is realy disapoinintg is that in the trailer he threw a car at the demons but in the game we cant do stuff like that. shame really.

The DT grows on you after a while but i rather see an actual demonic looking DT.

Dialogue's ok but could be better.

i dont mind politics in dmc, i just dont want real world politics in it.

The only thing I think is worth changing is the number of times you can angel lift-uppercut an enemy. It's one of the things detractors are holding on to, and want them to have as little reasons as possible to belittle or discredit this game, because honestly this game looks VERY DMC and I don't see how they can continue to say otherwise. They constantly downplay the expanded air combat because exploits aren't required to stay airborne anymore, yet they'll praise Bayonetta's gameplay when this is a similar premise.

So maybe only let you gain altitude with that move twice on a single enemy. Just to give it a bit of strategy or skill.

Other than that? I don't see any problems here.

I'd rather that be unlimited. This game is meant to be fun and fun games should be able to let you have all the fun you want.

MUSIC is a disappointment
Music doesn't impress me when it comes to something really weird like Combichrist

I don't like "FU*K YOU" in this game
Seriously i don't like it and exaggerating it in every part of the game is not what i prefer i prefer a more subtle and civilized way i know dante's a punk but it isn't necessary to show it like that

I don't like the environments

They look vivid and vibrant i like it but for a DMC game it should be creepy :(

Well there should've been a third option for

"somewhat satisfied" because that's how i feel

one thing i liked in the TGS is that he looked much younger and serious (More likely crazy) but now he's just a copy paste of DMC 3's dante what a dissapointment

The bad:
- The characters, including Dante. Dante looks like some kind of hooligan, and he's got a pretty annoying voice. The girl looks like a prepubescent Rihanna with a hoodie on and denim shorts - disgusting and idiotic. Mundus is now a peabrain ape. Then there's 'Poison' - arguably the most badly designed boss ever. There's also something that looks like a bloated Balverine from Fable with a vagina in its head. No demons, just ugly creatures.

- The gameplay. It's slow (when compared to the original DMC series, that is). No more true combos it seems, just a lot of hacking and slashing that's not in any apparent sequence.

- The devil trigger. It isn't a devil trigger, really.

- The weapons (ugly, bland Ebony & Ivory, Rebellion looks lame).

- The music (almost as bad as dubstep).

The good:
- The graphics.
- Probably the story.
- The acting. Could've been better, though.

It is a "Hack n' Slash" game Y'know so why eouldn't there be hacking and slashing.

DMC needs Dubstep. Something that's new from the generic screamo music of blood tasting and death.

Jesus H. Christ, as if dubstep is better than hardcore. It's today's version of hardcore, and it's generic as hell. Mindless, melodyless shouting and banging and what have you.

As for the gameplay, this is Devil May Cry. It's always been about combos, not just hacking and slashing. Dumbing down the game is not for me.
