Strong language

The DMC franchise is my favorite franchise of all time, in second place is Kingdom Hearts. If I heard Sora say, "Why the **** am I fighting with a key, and playing with dumbass Disney characters?", it would be funny, but not what I want in Kingdom Hearts. We'd expect DMC to get violent and vulgar, its not an M-rated game for nothing. You all are really making threads of unnecessary things. If this game is to much for you, go buy My Little Pony video games instead.

Hey, kid, you're obviously new here. So let me break it down for you.

If you couldn't tell, we actually like this game, and look forward to it. If you don't, that's fine. Just stop trying to derail threads.

Anyway, guys, I wouldn't reply to this to much, otherwise we'll get off topic.

Kid? I'm 19 years old. Its obvious you like this game, but I "love" this game. I don't recall saying "I'm not looking forward to this game". Also, if you haven't notice I've been staying on topic, reread the thread. "Strong Language", we express our opinion on if DmC is going to far with the vulgar language, or not.
 
I don't get the whole problem with the language...

Seriously, the game is about a man who is half DEMON, half ANGEL. The same guy KILLS demons by SLASHING them and using other violent ways.

Demons are sliced and diced as food. There is blood and tension during the entire game. You literally go to HELL in the game, people die in the process.

That's more than enough to show the game isn't for children and kids. It's rated M for a reason. That's why there are ratings. To show what can you expect in the game.

The least of your worries should be the language, lol.

This is not a kid's game. You'll face giant monsters, but not the ones you're used to see in movies like Starship Troppers. This time, the monster come FROM HELL!! Devils, Demons and grotesque things, I think some guys still remember the old Dante for the classic series.

However, it's not that Dante anymore. Now we have a man that was tortured by demons, he lost everything, he basically lives in streets, he is a vagrant, he doesn't know what do to and where to go. So, it's qute obvious that he won't tell jokes a lot, lol.

That whole topic made me remember a movie called Untraceable. That movie did show people being tortured, but people did freak out when they saw a cat starving to death, lol. They didn't care about the people being killed, because that was normal according to them. Their problem was the cat being killed, haha.

That's why I say it's a game. If it's content is heavy for you, then it's better not buying it. Just keep playing T rated games and you'll be safe. :)

Otherwise, daddy is gonna spank your butt, spank your butt. XD

It'd actually be cool if they gave Nero a bunch of different melee weapons that had a different, secondary effect with L2/LT like Exceed.

Hey Meg5493, think of it this way. Devil May Cry is now Final Fantasy. DMC1, 2, 3 and 4, are like Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and XIII-3. All part of the same world and same characters.

DmC: Devil May Cry is Final Fantasy XV, completely separate from the past games. There are similar things like demons and a character named Dante; just like all Final Fantasy's have crystals and chocobos. But they have nothing to do with the original.

i thought that you were going to say that the DMC games were the same quality as those final fantasy games and i was like "Wut but those are some of the worst final fantasy games ever!" but yeah i get what you're saying
 
Dante gets impaled in every DMC game and cursing is bothering you? I suggest if you want to play an M rated game, you get a job, buy a tv and a game system and stay in your room. Thats if you live with your parents. Im a grown ass man and i'm going to be playing DmC in HD with full surround sound so my neighbors can hear it.

lol what does that have to do with anything its like comparing sex to hand to hand fighting to vastly different things what you like will differ from what other people like you need to calm down a little

They're all different, so it depends on each person's taste :p I loved VIII until I played XIII and XIII-2, but I still like many of the older ones on their own merits. That's what's great about that series - each installment is different, and tries something new.

They are still things that i would not want people under age to witness non the less. Its like saying murdering is fine unless they use vulgar language

I don't want to intrude but does your mother play video games? not the kind on her phone but actual VIDEO GAMES? if she does, well then thats cool and maybe DmC just isn't her cup of tea, but if she doesn't, SHE'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND! X0
