that's seriously suicidal for capcom, after what went on with releasing DmC (being realistic, some fans hated it, i loved it to the bones), capcom would really want to make up for it
Hah, as if. I honestly have no idea where all of this is coming from- I mean, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition added Bloody Palace, playable Vergil, two cutscenes, a new boss, and tweaked lower difficulty modes. Vergil was already a team mate a la Doppleganger in Mission 19, so much of the code to get him working was already present in the game, not to mention his boss fights filling in his moveset.
So, arguably, including Vergil as a playable character at all in DMC 4: SE is more work than it was before, even if it is just a copy and paste of his previous moveset with a new model in the new engine. So, there are two ways to look at this- one is that, "oh hey, they're already doing more work than they did on DMC 3: SE, maybe they'll really polish it up", or the more realistic, "they've already got so much work to do just putting in Vergil- I doubt we'll see much more than that."
I'm not sure if it's suicidal, considering how many enhanced versions of games people are buying right now that only have some graphical refinements and DLC included. For DMC 4: SE, I doubt Capcom feels any obligation or fear. While I would definitely like to have some awesome expanded content, I certainly don't expect it, and I won't hate Capcom for not doing it since I don't feel like they owe that to me. I completely understand if this is just a basic rerelease- I'm actually happy that they're adding any features at all compared to the PC version. We've already gotten more than we should expect.
