Yeah, But i did not give a downgraded version of the original image. May be size was small. But still it was in high-resolution when vergil was an in-game screenshot(with no added effects to enhance bruised look) yet still does not look wasted.
Bruised look does not equal bravery.
Anyone can get bruises by getting beaten up by public for groping women in public places.....LOL...A high resolution image of them does not make them brave.....LOL.ZOMG!!! he is bruised...Must be a brawler....LOL.
>.>
What is the point of even saying this crap? Considering along with the 2010 trailer NT stated that "Dante loves fighting demons" and that "he's like a street brawler," we know where the wounds came from.
Even though TGS dante looks bruised, He comes off as more wasted and i don't think i am the only one. Many even questioned if he was on drugs.
Why is it a big deal if i find dante wasted????Didn't he get wasted in DmC where he stood naked in front of kat.:troll:
Many attributed his fight wounds as the perceived effects of a crack addiction, and then used that perceived idea of DmC Dante being on crack as something else to be all ****y about. It's a prime example of people literally taking something out of context making it look bad, and then complaining about it.
As to say, the effects of crack addiction are a cosmetic thing (bad complexion, sunken eyes, chapped lips). Being "wasted" on alcohol or drugs (like crack) is more about one's expression and bodily behavior.
I don't know about you guys but I'd take the DmC Dante we have now over the TGS Dante.
You can look badass without smoking or posing as a mentally unstable bad guy with bruises on.
The Dante in the game was more serious and not trying too hard,my opinion.
I'm with you. Although I can see the merit of both versions. The 2010 Dante would, of course, require a game with themes and other elements that match the persona he's putting forth.
As such, the DmC Dante we have works for the narrative we have, while a 2010 Dante would only work for an applicably darker and more psychological narrative.
Then why does he has red eyes? :ermm:
I like his blue eyes and serious, annoyed face more.
If you mean the red eyes from the trailer, I think it was supposed to be the ol' "rawr rawr, I'm a demon with evil eyes" shtick.
If you mean why are his sclera (white parts) red, like in the picture of his mugshot, that's because getting hit in the eye hard enough can rupture the blood vessels there. I've seen people who have gotten into fights where their eyes look like a ball of blood with a black dot in the middle of it >.< Nooooot really a pretty sight.
Well I meant more like a artbook "the Making of DmC" style or like what they did what RE5 where they revealed what the original scenario or the different scenarios for RE5 was.
I'd like that, too. I think that big huge "Art of Devil May Cry" that came out a little bit ago (or has yet-to-be released) goes in-depth on concept art from all five games, from DMC1 to DmC. Although...it seems to only be in Japanese right now.
You haven't quoted me where i said "bruises"="wasted".
My whole point was there's a difference between bruised and wasted. I said vergil looks bruised and not wasted.
And you'd be wrong, because there is a
huge difference between being bruised and being wasted on a substance. You're attributing Dante's slim physique as a sign of intoxication when physique plays absolutely no part in determining intoxication.
Dante looks too skinny and damaged in TGS trailer and its not jus the face. Jus like that Lindsay lohan look.Covering it with bruises does not make it less wasted or not wasted at all.
Taking away all of the cosmetic stuff from Dante, eg, his bruises and cuts, and clean up the blood, you'd be left with a cleaned up, but gaunt, young man with. However, gauntness is
not at all an attribute of "being wasted." Again, when someone is "wasted" it's seen in their expression and bodily behavior. A perfectly clean-cut person (say Vergil), could exude all the visible traits of being wasted without "looking like a hobo."
2010 Dante's slimmer physique is from an unsteady diet because of how he grew up. It has literally nothing to do with being "wasted," just as one's overall physique plays very little part in determining if someone is.
There would be a lot of compromise on look of vergil if dante model of TGS is used.Thats the gist of what i am saying.
The only real compromise would be changing his hair, clothing, and some fuller cheeks because of a healthy diet. That's what I've been saying this
whole time.
I must have missed the part where you were using reason amidst all the rude posts :/
