The ones we have a the moment are good. You can always insert images from the rest of the net into your posts and use them as smilies. I've seen some others doing it, and it makes their posts personal. You can't really say we don't have a variety from irate: and :ninja: to ^_^, :dry:, and :wacko: even :| for when you're emotionless.
If you click on the "more" part under the smilies you can see them all.
