Been hearing mixed things about it from friends, some like it and others hate it.

Really not helping in my decision about getting it lol, still going to wait a bit though and go with pc version as ps5 version seems to have glaring issues. The price of Ue5 games on console.

I think it's brilliant in its execution. Very much a winner if you're looking for a horror remake like RE2 and so on. The only downside is, it is dark in most places and easy to miss important items. I couldn't tell there was half of a swan figurine behind a shower panel, so I literally ran in circles. It was too dark to notice it. And the voice acting in my opinion, lacks a bit of punch. But it is definitely not a crap game, and I have faith in Bloober Team.

A sequel is unlikely, because James apparently died. It depends on the ending you gain, as one depicts him drowning himself in his car. But in the fourth game with Henry trapped in his apartment, Frank Sunderland states his son never came back from there.

My wife bought it and i watched a bit, some amount of shimmer and artifacting on console, gona buy it on my rog strix next year and play it on that. While i can appreciate bloober are a smaller studio, it is super demanding on ps5 so probs better on pc overall.

a new patch for the game.

a theory i found.

@Kaori
they could change that if they want but the ideas in the article would work better as a dlc.

So this game was announced in October of 2022. It took precisely 2 years to be released. Those two other games aren't even close to being finished, I assume. I don't count Ascension, as that was intended as a YouTube streaming thing, I believe. Nobody really liked it anyway.

Thank goodness for indie titles that keep fans interested in the genre. Because the wait for triple A games in this era is rather lengthy compared to the PS2 days when releases were more regular. I haven't even got a clue what f is about, or Townfall. These trailers are always too weird, in that they have you questioning what you just unveiled. But I hope news comes soon about them, or I'll be bored again. :D

Meanwhile, SH2 players are dealing with a really terrible bug in the labyrinth section. Fortunately, I beat the game. I think this was caused in error by some update.

Yes it was missing that oomph, they did a really good job though and i admit i was skeptical that they would. I would give it a solid 7, it is no resi 2 or 4 remake but it is still pretty good

I like the "It's bread" achievement you can gain for your PSN trophies. It is a throwback to SH3. You go into Helen's Bakery in SH3, and Heather states the obvious when you examine the loaf...
