Meh, Dante wearing a tanktop and skinny jeans just takes all the magic away. He used to be a hero, but now he's a normal guy without a sense of fashion, and a bad haircut.

Well, that's your opinion. I like skinny jeans, I wear some myself. They're not cheap though, skinny jeans can actually be quite expensive, depends on what label you are going for, of course. "Normal" pants tend to be cheap though, so I'm not sure where you are going with "he looks poor in tight pants". Try look at a hobo. You'd rarely see a hobo wear skinny jeans, unless he found some in a trashcan somewhere. Actually, I still don't think you would see a hobo in skinny jeans, as they aren't all that comfortable and don't warm you which is some of the high priorities of a hobo when wearing clothes. Of course, being a hobo, you can't really afford to be selective.
You also mention that tight pants reminds you of a superhero costume. Dante is wearing jeans, not spandex like a superhero is usually depicted in, but I get what you mean. However, that also collides with your comment about Dante looking poor when wearing skinny jeans. Does a superhero look poor to you when wearing their costumes, just because their outfits are tight? Because when linking together your comments and opinions, that's what you are telling me.
Your logic just comes off as... well, illogical, imo.
Either way, I like skinny jeans and I think the new Dante looks hot in them. It also compliments his tough-guy punkish look which Ninja Theory wants him to have, and it is also a modern look. It might not be what you want Dante to wear, but when looking at what Ninja Theory is going for, they have hit the nail straight on. They wanted Dante to have a modern, cool look and that is what he has now. And by "cool" I mean the by the majority standards of city blokes.
If I were to design Dante to fit my own personal preferences, he would be alot more gothic and punk-like, torn jeans, big army boots, chains and leatherstraps, zippers and buckles, tattoos and piercings - because that's what I like. Oh, and he would be alot skinnier, alot paler and use a scythe or a chainwhip as his main weapon. Actually, it would be cool if a character like that would appear in Devil May Cry, as a Demon Hunter ally to Dante, but I doubt that's ever going to happen outside of fanfiction.
Anyways, my opinion about the new screenshots, the weapons and Dante's look in this game: I quite like it. And that is my opinion.

I chose the first option, I love everything so far! The guns are really unique in design, original Dante's looked just like any old handguns; these ones look demonic. And I couldn't care less if he's wearing skinny jeans, I think he looks badass.

p.s. i bet there will be more costumes for those of you who don't like the skinny jeans. at least i hope so, because that's one section where dmc4 really dropped the ball, not enough costumes.

Yeah that's the only thing i don't like his jacket and tight jeans i'm crossing fingers for more costumes as far coatless dante looks much much better ! and even if there isn't any there are always MODS
and super nero and super dante were the same !! it didn't change anything !

exactly! it makes me mad that even when you got two new costumes in dmc4, they were the exact same costumes! and i agree i also think dante looks really cool without the coat sporting just a tank-top and jeans. i hope he has numerous other costumes, because i love costumes! (i almost guarantee there will be at least one costume that looks like original dante.)

I like cuts in jeans but i strictly despise tight looking jeans yeah and its also uncomfortable for me

In an origin story the hero must start as a normal person and make the transition to hero. Dante wasn't born in a Pizza-hut with a pair of pistols strapped to his side then wrapped in red leather. He was born a naked, screeching, blood and mucus covered portent of demonic doom. I admit, the casual style might be off putting to some, but it should not be because of the fact that it is casual. That has to be a given. Dante hasn't opened his shop nor picked out his official devil hunting attire or uniform. He'll become a demon slayer over the course of this story. The hunted becomes the hunter.

This DmC is a totally different game than those of the original DMC franchise. You do know that this is not an 'origins story' for Dante, right? DmC is a reboot of the series.
But yeah, I understand what you mean, though it's just my opinion that a badass devil hunter (which he already is) shouldn't be wearing a tanktop and look like a white rapper.

Doesn't his Devil Trigger form already look exactly like the old Dante? Or do you mean a costume other than the 'red jacket' one that was in DMC, like Vergil's black sleeveless shirt?
But yeah, some other outfits would be nice. I'm all for extra customizability.

There still needs to be a deadpool costume because as Deadpool says himself in MvC3 against Dante

well it would be crazy as hell if they put a deadpool costume in DmC, but you know what? that would be the best crazy as hell idea ever! i love deadpool, one of my favorite characters!
