New gameplay and new weapon reveal

Intersting gameplay. I really liked how the game's first mission puts you right into the action like DMC3 did, and not waste time with some boring prologue of a story like DMC4 did.

Aquila reminds me of charkams. I wonder if he'll use them like Axel does in KH

curious:shifty:

Also, I loled at how the japanese girls got all flustered and blushed at Dante flying through his trailer, naked.

I think he holds his sword because his preferred style is Iaido; unsheathing, striking once lethally and sheathing again. The sword is held traditionally by the waist and this way he can use the sheath to bluntly attack too.
It's damn cool.

That is another thing. Hard to have Iaido when the sword isn't always on hand. Although Dante did it well enough in DMC4's Darkslayer style :p

I can't translate all of it since it's a 8 min video...I got a 37 degree cold.
But I would like to tell you guys what's going on.
Just a first introduction.
Well the two guys in the middle is a famous comedy group called "Speedwagon".
The man in the Blue shirt is Itoda Jun, and his counterpart is Ozawa Kazuhiro.
And the girls are Phong Chi (girl with long hair) and Kimoto yuuki (Girl with black short hair) Both are from Idon talent groups.
The man that is showing his gameplay is Doya! Uchida. The game assistant producer.

The video is a series to introduce "What is DmC?" (Or the DMC franchise.)
And to offor tips to newbies, how to play efficiently, yet stylishly.

It'll still be Osiris for me. I love me some scythe action!

I like how Rebellion really does morph into all the weapons, too, and you can see remnants of Rebellion's design on each of the weapons so far as well, like the pommel on the snaith of the scythe is Rebellion's, the whole pole of Arbiter is an elongated version of Rebellion's grip, and the Eryx's design on the forearm is the same spiral design on Rebellion, too.

If I remember correctly, E&I are also supposed to be a nephilim weapon, too, because those grips certainly don't look human >.< Although he places them at the small of his back, into his waistline, so they might be his only weapon available outside of Limbo. Actually, in that exchange taking place on the highway, Dante is holding his pistols at Lilith, but he's in the human world, so I'd imagine they are his only weaponry outside of Limbo - or, all his weapons are "stored" in his tattoo, and he doesn't want to draw attention to himself having a broadsword on his back. I'd imagine the former though.

Definately Osiris for me too. I love scythes! :D
And good theory about Rebellion.

Vergil you could say is in a constant DT, or at least a half DT since he still looks human. He probably has the ability to carry magical weapons with him.

And the girls are Phong Chi (girl with long hair)
Huh. So is she Chinese or Vietnamese? Her complexion isn't very Vietnamese but the name can be. Then again, she could be half Japanese since she does the facial structure for it.

Why would u think Virgil is in constant DT? The white hair? Dantes hair seems to gradually turn white even when he's not in DT so i think its just a trait that means he's unlocked some his power earlier so his hair had time to change to completely change.
