My opinion; either a DmC2 or no more DMC games!

I don't think DmC is a "fail", but it's not selling good. Why is it?

I don't like DMC4 in the artwork because we aren't fighting devils. We are fighting electric charged reptiles and mechanic fishes and dogs with toads and dragons and whatsoever. it's a zoo.
This is a sole example of what they should do.

See? Pure evil badassery.
I agree completely. I think DMC 1 is the only DMC to have properly amazing and demonic minions - DmC is moving in the right direction in making them more organic and they do look cool as well.

I thought the demons in 4 were quite alright in terms of design. However, I HATED the demons in 3. Worst lesser demons of the entire series in my opinion.

Honestly, I thought 1 and 2 had the best enemy design.

Marionettes for the wwwiiiiiinnnnnn!

I just thought the Nobodies were ugly and annoying...
I thought their ugliness made them more creepy and I liked the way their masks made them bigger - to be honest I just love DMC1 as it is just the best game ever (alongside Uncharted 2):D

Heh... I'm actually not a big fan of DMC1. I used to love it, but now when I go back to it, it feels really clunky.

I know what you mean but it has more pacing, atmosphere and horror so if they did make a DMC5 it would have to have these things (especially horrific enemy designs and atmosphere) to be able to win me back without any skepticism.

DMC2 had an atmosphere that was just as good, imo.

It did but I just prefer the more horrific enemies of 1 and DMC2 is ok to me but the boss fights aren't enough for me to want to replay it and the cluster of boss' was just annoying to me.

I hated that cluster of bosses in one on DMD. It was a serious pain to beat and I had no choice but to shoot them from a distance. Which got really annoying. Then be the time the fire boss comes, my fingers are burning.:/

So look to answer the OP question, If they do a DMC5, i just want them to give a damn about the story they were trying to tell and the characters they were trying to create.

That's the problem with DMC4, it felt like they just didn't give a damn about the story or nero. And if their not gonna give a damn, than why should I?

DMC 5 can be as different as any other dmc game in the franchise in terms of story line. They mostly don't have any proper context, they just think of characters and time and somehow slap them together. As far as gameplay goes,I don't know, the 'old' style worked well, and so does this new one.I would like to see a new dmc game whether it's DmC 2 or DMC 5.

At least the boss after that was fun.

Yeah, it was a lot more challenging. If fact, I think it was the most challenging boss in the game.

But then there's Lucia's dick with that giant fish that turns invisible and you don't know what to do.>_<

I would like ONE more game and thats it. I NEED to know more about Nero it keeps me up at night. I will not hate on new DmC because there is absolutely no point but I just dont like it. I do not care in the slightest if they keep DmC going because I am not going to buy them(I rented this one haha) but I would really like them to close the gap between 1-2 storyline wise. What made Dante that dark? What happens to Nero? Does Vergil ever return? How is Lady doing? Trish was not in 2 storyline wise so something must have happened.

And just for the lolz my games in favorite order- DMC3>DMC4=DMC>DmC>DMC2 . To me it was a hard decision equalizing 4-1 because 1 had an amazing story but 4 is CRAZY fun to play with high skill levels.

He is pretty cool, but he could've used some openings so you could attack with melee. Actually come to think of it, Dante's dodge could use some I-frames on that game.
