I know they're a group of people... I'm not retarded... I just have no idea what makes a person a chav and not something else... people say chav but we don't have chavs here so it just sounds like you're randomly hating on some group of people
... is it because they wear burburry? whatever that is?

most chavs are seen wearing burberry, but they are also a bit like gangsters, but not quite as bad, there are a few levels of chav, the basic, think they are better than everyone and annoying, higher up, think they can do what they want, when they want, and the worst, thugs. There is also Chavvy music which chavs like e.g. candy shop a well known song. The majority of chavs are against goths, male chavs will usually be seen wearing some kind of cap in a lop sided way. Look on www.youtube.com and search for chavs to see mroe of them
