Nope. Still can't agree. I still prefer DmC ending.

The low dialogue and bad acting is like me watching a bad porno with fat chicks, no offense :) but I can't see how this is better than what we had. Obviously in the end of DMC 3 there was better action, emotion, atmosphere and most of all you got to fight in Hell so I found the original better whether you swing the other way or not. Still glad I'm not getting this and my thoughts were correct. Oh and my picture has the best expression for its overall look anyways with the "Wtf man..." look.

Nero could have been an interesting character but they half-assed him so they could fit Dante into the game to avoid fan outcry.

While I agree Nero could have been great, character-wise (he is a lot of fun to play as) I think he was half-assed from day-1.

"The new guy's name is Nero! And he's just as rebellious, witty, and cocky as Dante, nearly as unstoppable, wields a big sword, has white hair, wears a long coat, and tots a gun!"

"that he made himself, in a society that shuns such things."

"Yup! Making him all the more rebellious!"

"So then what's the difference between the two other than powers?"

"His coat is BLUE!! And he wields a DOUBLE revolver --GAH STOP PUNCHING ME IN THE FACE"

Well what about the supporters who constantly shove their opinions down my throat on my own videos just because I don't like what the game has to offer? I get a hell of a hard time because of that yet I try my best to act civil towards them.

Ok... look.

If you're putting yourself out there on youtube, you're going to have to expect a difference of opinion, even if it wasn't about DmC. It's not like a forum with mods. Yes, there are people who get their accounts closed, but you know what I mean when I say it isn't quite the same.

I say... disable the comments and turn off your mailbox (if that's even possible). Either that, or report each and every negative comment towards you.

I'm not comparing you to... that individual... but I have the same opinion about Event Status' videos. He goes on and yells unreasonably and is shocked -- shocked -- when he gets negative backlash (along with a lot of a lot positive backlash, that is).

So, while you can report people on a forum (or, at least, on this forum) you can expect for the haters to reign in their frothing of the mouth a little due to the fact that the admins and supporters are immediately on their case.

I don't mean all the skeptics, just the ones who see fit to insult others (whether overtly or covertly behind seemingly innocent comments, like a sinister ghoul).

I myself posted a "constructive criticism" thread. I explained each and every one of my points with the occasional joke. I don't think it's to much to ask that people explain why they hate it instead of just saying "it's bad." The only reason to do that is to just dismiss it and assume it's not even worth watching.

And that, in my opinion, is morally wrong. There shouldn't be any negativity without some sort of explanation.

Because there was no build up.

All they did was fight and had no real bonding except in the Arakam fight, which didn't last as long either.

I'm sorry, but DMC3's final battle was just action and cliche lines. I don't like brotherly battles to have no meaning in them.

This is how I feel as well. Yes the fight between Vergil and Dante in DMC3 was awesome! But there wasn't much emotion or build up behind it.

I dont know man. You played DMC3 so you can judge that game completely but, with DmC you havnt played it at all. You havnt gone through all of the character development so of course you wont feel emotion for its ending.

well the fan reaction to it so far has been pretty darn mixed.

Tameen has been pretty vocal towards the fanbase so far, I think its a chance that he may respond to this.

Especially considering they once commented on the fans being mad about Dante not having white hair in this one long ago lol.

If they would comment on something like that, I think them commenting on the very mixed fan reaction to the ending of DmC is pretty likely.
He might reply to those with rationally thought out posts but I think he'll just ignore those "Ending is ****. NT sucks", "F*** you", etc comments but really, if someone doesn't like the ending, than that person doesn't like the ending. If someone likes the ending, then that person doesn't like the ending. People can voice out their opinions of the ending but incessantly whining about it just infantile.

That's a good explanation as to why the ending isn't as good as people say it is. If only such explanations existed behind DmC's ending... :/

Dante wanted to stop Vergil from gaining power to rule of course. After losing Vergil doesn't accept defeat and wants to stay filling like he failed himself. Dante tries to save him from pushing himself over the edge from the battles result but instead falls as Vergil slashes him. Either way I find it more appealing than this regardless of what anyone says and to put it gently, you have your opinions and I have mine, easy to say on that no?

And just because this game had a more reason between them doesn't make it better either.

Build up? If you pay attention their is bonding as well and also with "bonding" the last time they saw each other they had clashing ideals and wouldn't see eye to eye. Even then they still loved each its like playing Silent Hill or Rule of Rose you play the game, beat it and then once you go back a couple times you start to notice things you didn't the playthrough before that

Oh yea, I wouldn't want him to even address such remarks.

Although I imagine if he did it would be by making fun of them lol.

But yea, It would be nice for him to only respond to the more "rational" fans who just do not like the ending for other reasons rather than simply not liking it because they had their minds set on this being a bad game in the first place.

hmmmm, I wonder who this is directed at...

It does for me. Feelings and emotions can really make a game go for me.

DMC3 just didn't have this.

I did. I noticed Vergil was one dimentional and power hungry, and Dante was party crazy and was the only one with character development, but it was a bit lazy, that I couldn't see it the fist time.

Don't get me wrong. Love DMC3 to death, but story was just not that good in my opinion.
