Major DmC Update

So I log into Steam, only to discover that DmC is going under a rather large and long update.
For the console guys, have any of you chaps gotten an update recently, or just now having to download one? If so, what does it contain?
I hope it's Bloody Palace.

I just booted it up. No such update. The costume pack isn't even available on XBL yet it seems. :/

Just got off DmC, and it's downloading 1.6GB.
So much for beating DMD today... Sigh.

The patch changes the style system, now they drop!!!

i hope that's only for the pc version....because otherwise why introduce the system in 4 and not use it in future installments

Btw yeah is this only on PC or consoles too? Because my update is not popping up when I start the game.

So, maybe I should test the style meter dropping, but I do think that they did a bunch of bugfixes too.
Weren't a lot of users getting sound glitches and whatnot? Maybe it fixed that too.

Patches on consoles have to go through crazy testing.

They most likely won't get it for a few weeks if they do get it.

Yeah, I just checked it out on Nephilim and Son of Sparda, and it's much harder to keep your Style up even during combat.

Just tested it. The style meter still doesn't drop while in combat, but it will drop if you're out of combat.

It might be.
Mine dropped during combat.

So, just did a bit more testing, and it dropped from SSS to SS and then to S. Tried standing still, but the S didn't drop to A.

I'm hoping for a special a Special/ GOTY/ DX Edition of DmC with the Virgil Downfall DLC, style patch and redone Mundus fight with "Human form Mundus" instead of just a cut scene and a extended "mecha Mundus" fight with more platforming a'la Saviror (except less retarded) and an extended ending. That would be awesome!!!
