Vergil may have knew, but Vergil may have been planing to stab Arkham all along when he was finished with him at Temen-ni-gru. "Now that the final door is open...I have no use for you." So it didn't matter if he knew he was up to something or not.
Probably Vergil underestimated Arkham there. Not only his power, but also his determination.
That's why Arkham said that Vergil "lost" because he underestimated humans. His failure to predict that Arkham was hiding facts about the ritual from him was the reason he "lost".
Why does Arkham always say stuff so slowly?
He really bugs me. Im not just saying it because he is the bad guy and I dont like him, its because I really just hate the way he speaks.
He is forever a 2 face man! Cant he just keep to the 1 evil face?!
No wonder one side has the flame stuff and the other is a normal side...
