Is the game broken or what

I bought the game on steam and I know that my laptop can run it, or at the very least I hope.
Intel core i7 with 8GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 840M

Why wont the damn game pass 30 FPS ? Can my laptop run it or not ?
Please help its killing me

That is weird as I have a weaker laptop than yours and I get more performance.

Try following the advices in the threads in the Steam hub page for the game about turning off Depth of Field, and Blur filters. You should get a performance increase.

If even that doesn't work, be aware that something that severely damages laptops' performances is the dust inside it. Check if the fans expel a good amount of air. If not, go get your laptop clean from dust ASAP.

I have a Geforce GTX 545
Intel I3 Processor and 4 gigs of RAM and with all graphics settings max I get a solid 60-80 FPS
