just how DMC has been handled in general.

As much as I like DMC3, i felt it would have been better had they made it a straight sequel to 2 and answer some of the lingering questions rather than jump to the past.

it might have helped Nero since you didn't see Dante as a rookie or a youth so you cant say Nero was a rehash of it.

main problem with 2, 4, and anime was lack of context for the changes they made or just plain sloppy handling.
