I noticed something odd

And who knows, fighting Vergil could just be something you do for fun, like a training thinger. Obviously, we know he's going to be an endgame boss, it's just a given at this point :p

God damn it put a damn spoiler tag on this!
Some people actually care about the story, so stop spoiling it. You've already ruined it for me.

well its not exactly a spoiler every game vergil has been in you've fought him so.....

i am bothered by that two and seriously i really think vergil is a overused boss three times in dmc3 three times in dmc1 just.. just stop
Vergil is never overused. Plus this is the first game in a series, the factor of being overused doesnt count.
This is DmC not DMC

Vergil might be overused but he's a fun boss to fight with that you'll never really get bored. The fight/rivalry between dante and vergil is one of the most strong points of the series and plus, the fight between vergil and dante in this game is necessary for character development and for the story. Make sure you actually know what you're talking about son.

neccesary for the OLD story it does not have to be a element in this reboot series or at least the first game in the series

Wasnt it pronounced moondas in DMC so its more like a tomato tom8to type thing.
I see nothing wrong with fighting Virgil, in all honesty i would like more human sized bossed and less poison sized ones

i prefer the human sized ones too after all they require counterattacks and if you hit them you dont interrupt their moves they will just counter

I noticed something ood...

I suggested the same,to put SPOILER tags, on contents related to RE 6 in threads that are not expected to discuss RE 6 in resident evil forums and the response i got was ............"GET OFF THE INTERNET".

Funny how ignorance is justified these days.

Spoiler tags should always be used.
Personally I am not bothered with spoilers as I am kinda an info-whore who likes to know all things about a game before getting it, but there are some people out there who don't like to be spoiled and because they can't stay away from the internet, it is hard for them to avoid spoilers.

aoshi, people were wrong to say that to you and they were wrong to not put spoiler tags in said thread, however, that doesn't mean you should pick up their behaviour and repeat the same mistakes. Not accusing you for doing so, merely making a statement that I hope you and the others understand, so please do not take it personally. That would be most appreciated. ^^

So when you fought Vergil in DMC3 were you all like "Oh I've fought Nelo Angelo before, therefore this battle is boring..."?

dude no the battles in 3 with vergil were epic because we fought him before he fell from power and became corrupt and then finally setting him free and all the in between

So what's the problem? :D
whats more to explain really? I liked how Vergil was and when he and dante did get along with each other they were total badasses because neither could probably defeat arkham without the other but it was sad because they had clashing ideals yet they still loved each other I don't think the new DmC can top that honestly the emotion in the scene before the final fight with vergil and afterwards is just...:'( amazing and in DMC1 after playing 3 and realizing that Nero angelo is Vergil its very sad and makes you feel sad for vergil because this is the last thing he would have wanted, to be someone elses puppet for years.

I wouldn't necessarily say whether it tops DMC3's brotherly bond, but DmC's version has quite a bit of potential. Especially in this one since they are working together, and learning more about each other in the process, only to inevitably end up at odds with each other. Think Obi-Wan and Anakin in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, or way more aptly, think of Guts and Griffith in Berserk.

There's is a lot of potential given the concepts presented so far, and I'd say the best you could do is take your DMC3 blinders off, and try to look at DmC a bit more objectively.

I find it interesting in DmC but i honestly like how their betrayed in 3 better both brothers with clashing ideals it works better for me and makes me feel sad for them because there probably was a time when Eva was still alive that they were close as could be
