How un-fair trade ins are?

^eBay can be ALOT better or alot worse...bidding can be a curse...or it can get you a ridiculious sum for a rare...but dull game

I need to sell up my unused trading cards

Just put some reserve on it if you want above a certain price for it. I have a decent amount of Limited and Collectors Edition games to get rid of so would probably do that with those.

Reserves can work against you though - bidders can get frustrated because they don't know what the reserve is and are therefore bidding blind - it can put them off.

Never had a single item unsold - no matter how crap it is - just be realistic and play the market well. Check out what others are paying for a game and beat them at it. Time it right and you can do rather well...so many people were selling GTA IV on day of release for anything from £100 to £500 and people were paying for it. Never underestimate the blind pack mentality and pride of the buyer - it will serve you well

there is a gaming store a couple of towns away from me that has pretty fair trades and good prices...probably cause they r not a chain

i wish i had that store nearby then i wouldnt get half a (i think you know what letters come after a)prices for quality games

I went to trade in 11 games once. The overall price for all of them when I brought them was round about £150. The store would said they would give me £13 for them all. Needless to say I didn't agree.

well i just traded in a game i thought i must have had a dumb moment when i bought it because it was sooooooooooo bad....i nearly puked. crash bandicoot wrath of cortex. i got 3 bucks for it i was ****ed!!!!

I bought the Iron Man game when it came out -- COMPLETE TRASH!! Brought it back less than 7 days later, they wouldn't refund it since I used it, but the trade in -- 9 BUCKS!!! I PAID 30 FOR IT!!
