Gametrailers DmC gameplay videos

Hmm, gave him a lot more personality this time around, which is always a good thing for a character to have. The gameplay is becoming more and more 'DMC' like so I'm excited for that as well. Yeah I can't wait for it!
 
The enemies look a lot more aggressive at least. XBOX TRAILER PLEASE, NINJA THEORY!
 
Although it looked like the person playing looked liked he was very familiar with the controls and that the character might have been powered up a bit i still hope the amp up the difficulty a lil bit more. Also im surprised they didnt show off the DT this time around, i figured that NT would wanna show the complete version of it. But overall i liked what i saw :)
 
I Dont see what's so different about the combat. The enemies are more aggressive and the user is trying to pull off more complicated movede.
 
I don't quite get how to lock-on against the enemies with the new controls...
there is no lock-on button
 
Whoever played it knows the stuff. He seems to be a good player, I like that.
Great footage overall, looks fun.
Btw, did anyone else notice that "million stabs" and "prop shredder" are both in the game and were used a numerous of times during this footage? Quite cool imo. If you pay attention to the footage, you can also notice that the player jump cancelled at least once, meaning the jump cancels are back!

This is what i thought Dante should sound like and talk like. My favorite lines are

The glide also looked much better in both The Fight and The Secret. I hope they didn't sacrificed animations in order to give the game better textures or whatever, it was so smooth on those videos...
 
BTW has anyone noticed how ignorant people there are in the other forums for example IGN? Over half of the people there still think that this game is a prequel. Then there is all that 60fps vs 30fps BS... >_<

The new trailers showed me that the combat looks just as fast as any other DMC game. It's not about the framerates, they could make the moves so fast you wouldn't even see them, 60 fps might look smoother but it doesn't make it any faster... ^_^

60fps does give you a wider window for more responsive button input, but the same thing can be done with 30fps. Since NT is using Unreal i have to give them a lot of credit because this IS the first hack and slash i've ever seen done on Unreal and it looks pretty damn close to the past games, and in some aspects even better. What people are going to really whine about is how its not exactly going to be just like DMC. its a whole new engine with different physics so that alone will stand out entirely. But if its fun and your willing to learn a new play style, i think it will be well worth it.
 
I like what I'm seeing, the game play itself is a bit show but I like that. OMG Mundus is in this game somehow and who was that guy talking in the beginning?! OMG Her name is "Kat!" I like that name its sexy. OMG I want more!!!

I hope it's not him, because i always liked how Dante and Vergil go about their separate ways. Although i would like Vergil to be in the game. I just don't like it when they team up.

I don't think they would go again with the evil twin stuff, and Vergil being Dante's mentor would be faithful to Alighieri's book.
