I just hope Ninja Theory don't wind up suffering from the problems Hayao Miyazaki does. From some of the films I've seen that director do he really creates some imaginative stuff, but the endings are often sudden and don't really give you a 'farewell' that you'd seek.

Spirited away have that problem. Don't know about his other works though.

I felt Spirited away ended rather well. Arietty was one that ended to sudden for me.

God yes! I wanted just one more minute to see a 'years later' of Chihiro older and meeting Haku like they promised. ONE MINUTE! :'(

And he did Princess Mononoke, Nasicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service. Not so sure on Kiki but the ending for the other films from what I remember were quickly over and done with. =S something I hope DmC doesn't suffer from.

I always wanted a Spirited away sequel but miyazaki is not the type of a guy who make sequels ::/
And as long as DmC doesn't have plot holes and would have an epic ending for the next game, it's all fine. For me at least.

They must not have found the boss fights to be too bad because I was thinking the same thing.

Personally, I don't care that much about boss fights. I love all the stuff I can do against normal enemies, like juggles and all that. I know bosses are supposed to be there to change things up, but...I just never really cared >.< The only boss fights I ever really like are actually with human-sized people. I recognize the inventiveness of each (Geryon pulling a missile-launching carriage!) and that's cool, but my favorite part of any Devil May Cry will always be non-boss combat

Don't be doubtful just because the boss fights weren't to one reviewers liking.
Hell other reviewers said they were better than the old boss fights. So cheer up chum.

I don't trust any professional reviewer man with the exception from CVG. Also in that post, i'm HOPING that it will be good even it's not better. Only 26 more days for the release of DmC for me.

I sort of imagine the boss battles to be like DMC2's. They were decent boss fights, but nothing super extravagant to write home about. They still had that "larger than life" or "otherworldly" feel to them

Trust me it's good to be doubtful. If i believe right now that the boss fights is good then play the game and it's not what i expected to be, i will be highly disappointed. So being a skeptic before playing a game or watching a movie is your best bet in my own humble opinion.

Well yeah that's a good point. I wouldn't tell you to go in with good expectations either, more neutral expectations is what I'm going in for. The boss fights might be good or they might be bad I'll know in 13 more days.
