Game of the year? Game of the Year.

Yeah, 2013 cannot roll around soon enough. I know.

I think this game, to me, is going to be hands down the game of the year. There is no story like it, with such a fascinating background and a very interesting set up, DmC will win the cake for me and that's that.

It's to the point where all other opinions are invalid to me. You know that feeling? when you are so hyped for a game that is just around the corner and you just want to have it in your hands? I feel that. So this will be my game of the year regardless of what the VGAs or any video game ranking sites or companies, whatever. DmC will rock, especially from all the new trailers and videos that recently came out. It looks awesome.

Definitely my game of the year.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new DmC and support Ninja Theory, but I don't see it as being 2013's GOTY.
1) We still don't know the whole lineup for 2013
2) We still haven't played the full game yet
3) It's still 2012
4) The competition is INSANE. Seriously, the beginning 4 months are as follows (Just to name 1 game from each):
January: DmC
February: Dead Space 3
March: Bioshock Infinite
April: GTA V

That's some gooOOOoood competition there and all of them will kick arse. For me, it looks like Bioshock Infinite will be the leading game of 2013.

I'd call it "Devil May Cry of the year."

For it's large controversial image, it's dare to take a new turn, and it's very deep gameplay.

Unless something happens story-wise that makes me end up hating the game, DEFFINITELY MY GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!

I know it's competition. But I have a history with DMC, it pretty much launched me into the true world of gaming. DmC will no doubt be my personal game of the year. MGR, BS:I, GTA V, etc. all will be good games no doubt. But this will be my best game

I know that feel and DMC also made me take gaming seriously. I also have a personal game of the year in 2013 but by no means all other games that will be released in that year will be crap.

Well, 2013 will probably be one of the best year in gaming and will bleed gamer's wallets dry because many great games will be released that year.

There's no real way of telling who will take the top position next year until everyone has gotten their hands on them and played through it all. But same can be said for DmC.
