Have an idea which could mean a way of making your own cambion character which has base powers of being a half demon

Basically since the events with urizen the world has seen that there is a demon threat goin on all the time

They set up an academy for Cambions to come out of hiding and to train in to become warriors who kill demons

You take control of someone who trains at that place and that becomes the tutorial section

You create their appearance and gender but their backstory is chosen from a few in game choices and their name is locked in since DMC isn't an RPG

You take control of them once they graduate and the story continues from there

You get academy attire from the start but can unlock other costumes for said character

Again you get a singular academy default weapon which is a devil arm

Which is created by Nico and mass produced for each academy

All other weapons you get from defeating demons

How many main heroes would you expect to see in DMC?

Yu-Gi-Oh!:
  1. Yugi Muto
  2. Jaden/Judai Yuki
  3. Yusei Fudo
  4. Yuma Tsukumo
  5. Yuya Sakaki
  6. Yusaku Fujiki
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure:
  1. Jonathan Joestar
  2. Joseph Joestar
  3. Jotaro Kujo
  4. Josuke Higashikata
  5. Giorno Giovanni
  6. Joylene Kujo
Castlevania:
  1. Leon Belmont
  2. Trevor Belmont
  3. Christopher Belmont
  4. Simon Belmont
  5. Juste Belmont
  6. Richter Belmont
  7. Julius Belmont
  8. Shanoa

What?

A DMC x Darkstalkers merge would be mutually beneficial storywise for both series.

So you could have the Darkstalkers characters as playable.

Just formulating how the Sparda bloodline would work for future games like these. Even for other heroes outside the family.

No, I mean, what on Earth do Yu-Gi-Oh, JoJo and Castelvania have to do with a canon DMC game?

A character like Dynamo from Mega man x- a mercenary playing both sides of a conflict would be interesting.

Jojo series 5 focused a supernatural mafia so exploring the crossroads between DMC's underworlds (both literary and metaphorical) could be fun.

Bakuman was a manga about two highschoolers who wanted to become manga-ka (professional manga makers). One of their pitches was for two highschoolers who became part demon and rivals. So i'd have a game with a similar concept and 2 playable characters.
